Part 6

"Aruna....doctor....is here," assistant said.
She turned towards the doctor.
"Doc....how's the girl doing?" Aruna asked nervously.
"She's completely fine....you don't need to worry....thank goodness you brought her on time....or it could have been a completely different story," doctor explained.
Aruna hugged her assistant,with tears of joy rolling down her cheeks.
"Thank heavens," Aruna thanked.
"But no need to celebrate immediately..... there's only problem ," doctor said.
"It appears the girl has lost her memory....so don't force her to try and remember," doctor explained.
"Okay doc....no problem... we'll fall all your instructions.....may we see her," Aruna requested.
"Yeah...sure go ahead," doctor replied.
"Before you go....can we take her home?" Aruna asked.
"Yeah....but first I'll prescribe some drugs for you to give her.... alright," doctor explained.
Aruna nodded her head in agreement.

The doctor prescribed the drugs for her to give to the girl.

She gave to her.

"Aruna....the drugs are the same price....as the money we earned in the morning....what do we do Aruna?" Assistant asked.

"Use all of it....life is more precious than money....we can replace money....but not somebody's life....so go to the chemist....and buy the medicine," Aruna replied.

"Okay Aruna," Assistant replied.

He left to the chemist.

Aruna went to see the girl.

She's dressed in hospital clothes,she's asleep.

Aruna goes to her.

She remembers her granddaughter that died recently.

"If Mahi.....could be alive...she'll be the same age as you....but she's long gone....thank heavens you're alright," Aruna said.

Caressing her hair and face.

City Hospital.
Good Samaritans,rescued and evacuated the family and took them to the hospital.

Jhanvi is awake,she sees her husband and only two of the trio.

She inquires about Anika to Tej.

"Tej.....I only see Ishani and Bani.... where's my Anika?" Jhanvi asked in a fit of rage and emotionally.

Tej  was afraid to tell her that they didn't find her but she kept on asking repeatedly and persistencely.

Tej walked to her.

She touched her face and then hugged her tightly.

"Jhanvi....honey....am sorry....but we couldn't save Anika....she's gone....Jhanvi," Tej broke the news.

She pushed Tej away.

"No....your lying....my Anika is alive," Jhanvi replied crying and breaking down.

Tej could understand her pain and anguish and went and hugged her so as Ishani and Bani.

Evening time.
Aruna and her assistant came and took the girl home.

For now,she's weak so they put her on a wheelchair and take her to Aruna's home by boarding a rickshaw.

Off they went.

They reached her small house.

While the help of her assistant,Aruna and him kept her on the bed to get some rest.

Her assistant left and Aruna thanked him for all the help he gave them.
