Still night time.
Semi Permanent house.
Anirivya alongside Avni started by watching a movie while eating popcorn and pizza and some sodas.
After that they played karaoke on the karaoke machine...their favorite songs that they enjoy and love singing.
Then after that they did manicures and pedicures....all these activities they were undertaking started making Avni feel free and at home.
Moreover....they did one another different hairstyles.
Avni thought that they were going to bed....but were they really?
"Guys...I am thankful for the night.....," Avni thanked but interrupted by Gauri.
"What do you mean honey??" Gauri asked confused.
"Well... actually...I thought that since...it's we very done pretty much everything... we're going to bed," Avni explained.
"No...honey....it's when the party has begun...what I mean...is when the real fun begins...so sit back relax and enjoy," Gauri replied.
"Ooh...so what next?" Avni asked curiously.
"It's my favorite part of the party...the gifting ceremony...where we all give you presents and gifts," Gauri explained.
"I see...that's very nice of all of you," Avni replied gratefully.
Anirivya requested her to close her eyes first no peaking...then came with the gifts.
First it was Bhavya.
"Here you go," Bhavya replied handing over the bag.
"Ooh...wow!!" Avni replied surprised.
"Well...what did she get you??" Aniri asked curiously.
"Handcuffs!!" Avni replied.
"Huh... Bhavya explain...why this sudden gift?" Gauri asked.
"Well....I have known Neil for quite a long time...I know how impulsive and stubborn he can get...just as a dog is given a leash....you can apply the same here....with this handcuff...to control your man Avni...your welcome," Bhavya replied.
"Wow...I never expected hearing these words from you...just wow," Gauri added.
"Never underestimate me...mama...after all am a badass," Bhavya added.
"Anyways thanks for the gift....am sure it will help me in the future," Avni thanked.
"Your welcome...after all that's what friends are for," Bhavya replied.
"Okay....let's move on...my turn....here you go honey," Gauri replied handing over the shopping bag.
Avni removed the gift....in front of everybody...it was a red night dress.
"Ooh...wow...it's really red," Avni replied.
Everybody was now looking at her.... speechless.
"Okay....I'll explain...red is the color of love....and it's my latest creation....so when you and Neil go to your honeymoon...or rather your first night....and he sees you wearing this.... he'll be left awestruck... mesmerized by your beauty...and will awaken his inner tiger....and then sparks...and then boom...you know whatever happens after that...no further details," Gauri explained.
"Anyways thanks ," Avni replied.
"Anyways...my turn...here you go.... Avni," added Anika handing over the shopping bag.
Avni removed the gift....it was a teddy bear.
"Awww....how so cute!!" Avni exclaimed.
"Yeah... Annie...you really out did yourself...it's so adorable...and fluffy," Gauri replied.
"I agree...so explain....why the teddy bear?"Bhavya replied.
"Well....it's inevitable....that...Neil most of time... won't be home... following his job as a police officer....so whenever you miss him...just hug this teddy bear....it will help you feel much better...and your worries will fade away in a jiffy...that's what helped me when my grandma was still an in patient...I hope it will do the same too you," Anika replied.
"Wow...thank you...all of you....as I said earlier....nobody was ever done so much for me....am grateful beyond words...thanks for making my night....this is the best sleepover....I mean bridal shower I have ever been too," Avni replied getting emotional.
They embraced and hugged her.
Then broke it off.
"Anyways....it's not yet over.....until it's over....you still have to tell us...how you and Neil meet...and fell in love," Gauri replied.
They sat on the mat in a circle.
"So...I and Neil meet...in unpleasant circumstances.....what I mean...we didn't fell in love at first sight...as most people...we actually....hated each other...maybe because of misunderstandings here and there....but it happens....it got cleared...then we developed a good friendship...as the saying goes...love starts with friendship....we started felling for one another.....and that's our fairy tale love story," Avni explained.
"You see....their love story...it's almost us you...and Shivaay....that's means...you and him are next in line," Gauri whispered to Anika.
"No...Gauri...it's a different case okay," Anika replied.
Bhavya noticed the two of them talking.
"Guys...what are you talking so secretly about...do tell us?" Bhavya asked.
"No...it's nothing Bhavya...let it be," Anika replied.
"Actually...( Door bell rings)....I'll go and get that...who knows it can be for Anika," Gauri teased.
She went.
She opened the door.
"Aarti....your here!!" Gauri said.
"Yes... actually....Yash couldn't make it...so I thought of joining you guys....I hope that isn't a problem?" Aarti asked.
"What are you saying....the more the merrier....come inside," Gauri replied.
She walked in and joined the rest in the fun.
