Part 44

Staff headquarters.
Locker room.
Gauri was in her own fantasy world.....she kept rewinding....what happened with her and Om....she was bored....(She had a booklet....courtesy of the hotel)....she started drawing her and Om.
Then she had footsteps....somebody was coming.

"What did I do to him....that he was steaming with rage....what am I thinking or saying....I don't know....who he is....I just went him a few days ago....men...if it weren't for my sake of the job....I could...gave him kicks and blows....until his face was red......I think....I should...go out for a bit...to relax and calm down," Anika said to herself.

She arrived at the locker room.

Gauri sees her coming her way....she hides the booklet.

"Annie....I wasn't doing anything," Gauri said nervously...not wanting to be caught.
"What?" Anika asked confused.
"I mean....what are you doing here....your shift doesn't end until....an hour.....and why...the long face?" Gauri asked looking at her watch at the same time looking at her.
"Well....I think....I have a cold( she fake coughs)....so....I requested....the manager.....if I can go home early.....and thankfully...she agreed to my request," Anika explained.
"Annie....let's go together," Gauri replied.
"Where to?" Anika asked.
"Duh...to the hospital of course," Gauri replied.
"Thanks...but that's not needed....hot soup and bed rest will just be fine...plus....a cold...is a communicable..... disease.....I don't want you to have it," Anika explained.
"Annie....you're so sweet..... anyways....hope you recover quickly....so that tomorrow...you'll join us at work," Gauri replied.
"Me too... hopefully....pass my greetings...to Bhavya...when you see her.. okay," Anika replied.
"Sure...and take care,"Gauri replied.
She left.
"That was a close shave.....if Gauri...knew about what happened...she would have caused unnecessarily drama.....for no reason...knowing how impulsive she is," Anika thought...going to the changing room....to change into her regular clothes and then off she went.

Car.
"Are these girls stupid...or what....anyway can see...that his just playing with them....he isn't the committed type.....do they have sponges inside of brains....or what?" Bhavya thought.
"Yes...sir....how may I help you," Bhavya said.
"I was calling...you... weren't you hearing me," Rudy replied.
"Sorry....I guess....I was focusing....too much....on the road..... anyways.....I don't want.... something bad to happen.... but...why were you calling me?" Bhavya replied.
"Actually....I want you to turn on the AC," Rudy replied.
"Okay sir," Bhavya replied.
"Rudy... darling...why did you want to turn on the AC....is there a problem?" Girl 1 asked.
"Yeah...am getting worried about you," Girl 2 added.
"Yes...am feeling very hot....aside from....that..... they're two hot girls in my car....that are just so damn hot...to handle," Rudy replied.
"Awww....Rudy you're such a cute pie," girl 1 replied.
"No...to.mention...adorable," Girl 2 added.
Then he placed his hands on their shoulders.
"No...I was wrong...they're fools....those cheap flirty talks...make them go crazy....wow....but why do girls behave that way in front of boys...not to mention my friend Gauri....I think....they should...have brains checked," Bhavya thought.
After a while they arrived at the destination....in the trip.... Bhavya.... couldn't help but give stink eye.... because of the way girls were just gushing over him.

Then they went back to the hotel.
"Ooh...thank you for the wonderful time.... hopefully......next time," Girl 1 said.
Girl 2 kissed him.
They left with Rudy waving them bye.
"Here you go," Rudy said giving him money for the trip.
"Aren't you forgetting something here?" Bhavya asked.
"Ooh...I got it," Rudy replied giving her a tip and left.
"What an idiot...instead of saying thank you...he's just adding money," Bhavya said to herself and  left.
