Part 23

Oberoi mansion.
Unlike the rest who were sound asleep, Shivaay wasn't.

He was busy breaking all the things that reminded him of Bani.

He was getting wounded but kept on since this was the only one to end the chapter of their relationship once and for all...I guess it was a way of closure to him.

He kept  going on until eventually sleep caught up with him.

Kapoor mansion.
Bani's room.
Bani was getting ready to sleep,when someone barged in.
It was no other than Ishani.

"Get this straight...in your thick skull...though we might be living in the same roof....but am still..older than you...by 28 seconds... weren't you taught etiquette?" Bani asked.

Ishani started laughing hysterically making her shocked and confused at the same time.

"Why are you laughing?" Bani asked.

"Because...you talk about etiquette and courtesy...but you sadly don't preach what to say....it's such a dramatic irony... don't you think?" Ishani questioned.

"Ishani... don't waste my patience and time...say what you have to say?" Bani said.

"Bani...you might be a good actress to mom and dad...but you can't fool me...with your fake crocodile tears...you simply can't," Ishani explained.

Bani started clapping and then stopped.

"Wow...sister....you've proven to be that you're not such a moron...as I thought...hats off to you...hear I thought you were the biggest fool among the flock," Bani complimented.

"No that your done with your melodrama...tell me...why did you turn down Shivaay...he's such a nice person," Ishani replied.

"Why....are you being defensive...as if you like him...what am I saying...you're very much used to hand me downs," Bani replied.

"Sorry....to burst your bubble...but I don't like him as they way you think...only as a friend... because...when am with him...I see an older brother," Ishani defended.

"Wow...I never knew my shy timid sister....will stand up against me..wow...truly people grow up...but today...since am feeling rather generous today....I'll tell you why I did the charade downstairs...it's simply really....love can't buy rather guarantee a better tomorrow,"Bani explained.

"What do you mean....I don't quite get you," Ishani replied.

"If you know my true colors....I think you'll get to know....it will be a walk in the park... anyways...I have to go to bed....I have an early morning shoot tomorrow...ta ta....just a friendly reminder....you find the door close...so close it after you leave....sister dearest...oops....you said I have no etiquette.... goodnight... sweet dreams," Bani replied.

Ishani left and closed the door behind her.

"What does she mean...by...love can't buy rather guarantee a good future...I'll have to investigate.....(she started yawning)....but first...I have to go and lay down....after all... tomorrow is still a week day," Ishani replied.

She went to her room, switched off lights and retired to bed.

Morning time.
Oberoi mansion.
Dining set.
Shinky and Omru are on the breakfast table.
They didn't invite Shivaay thinking he needed some space.
Speaking of the devil ,he came downstairs.

"Om...look of there," Rudy signed.

"Am done playing games....," Om replied Rudra turning him.

Shinky too looked.

Shivaay looked different,he usually hated suits and coats and now he was wearing it.

What was going through his mind?
