Jade couldn't be subtle enough with her hints. Brady joined us too after practice and filled Axel in on what they did for the game tomorrow.

She winked at me a million times and nudged my side as she looked over at Axel then at me. I rolled my eyes at her when the boys weren't looking, they were too plunged in football topics.

"What?" I hissed at her.

"Did you take birth control?"

I coughed out in surprise and Axel looked concerned when he saw me, I gave him a thumbs up that I was okay before he continued with Brady.

"Jade, we just talked. We aren't like you guys." I jabbed at her, she didn't take it to heart as she giggled.

"That's true, you wish you were like us. Me and Brady's se—ouch." She rubbed her arm where I slapped her with eyes wide. I felt my cheeks heating up and she pouted at me.

"I don't want to know."

"Well, lucky for you, Brady confirmed that Axel has a huge ding dong." She chimed in and my cheeks exploded as I gawked at her dirty mouth.

"Do they see each other down there?" I sputtered in a whisper.

"They might compare sizes in the showers. They are show off jocks who do that, but Brady only told me about Axel." She stated with a Cheshire grin.

My eyes traveled to Axel's pants then directly averted my eyes to hers.

"What are you guys talking about?" Brady asked with a raised eyebrow.

  "Nothing." We both squeaked.

"You guys look like bright tomatoes."

"Brady, didn't I teach you that there is something called blush stick?" Jade exaggerated. Me and Axel shared a goofy smile.

"The only stick you know is mine!" Brady exclaimed.

There was silence then we all burst laughing — these were the moments I lived for as the sound of good laughter swirled in the air.

My phone rang and I told them I would be back before I went to another empty lounge when I answered the call.

"Hello, who is this?" I pressed the phone to my ear.

"This is West, Indigo gave me your number — I insisted so don't blame her please."

"It's fine. What did you want?"

"I really liked your coordination skills and Lena recommended you to me. We are having a casual party, it's more of a get together with florists around. Lena and Indigo will be there too, it's on a Saturday so you don't have to miss out on work." He declared.

I pursed my lips as I thought about it. I meant it was cool, but I had a weird vibe towards him.

"Sure, that would be great. I'll be there." I replied.

   "Fantastic, see you there."

  "Thanks for the invite, West."

"Don't mention it." He answered before we hung up at the same time.

It was a great opportunity since he knew connections, per what Indigo told me about him. I rubbed my forehead from the headache and turned to see Axel, who stood next to the door frame.

"Care to tell me who is West?" His sharp gaze at me made me uneasy and he felt it too when he approached me.

"Just a guy who came to the shop, my manager knows him." I frantically elaborated.

"And why the fuck he called you?" The frigid tone of his voice made me stand still and play with my necklace.

I obviously didn't know which card to play as he stood with his black shirt that he looked good in. I felt under scrutiny and I hated to be in this situation.

"He invited everyone to a get together on Saturday." I clarified.

"That you are not going to," He strained his voice as his jaw clenched.

"I'm going to go and there is nothing you can do about it. A lot of florists will be there and I need that for my career," I exploded on him.

"Destiny, if he wanted to invite everyone at the shop, Lena should have called you. Not him. I know how guys think but you are naïve and you won't get it." He talked in a monotone voice as he kept his defensive gaze.

"Nothing will happen, I promise." I held his hand as our fingers interconnected and his eyes softened as he got me in an embrace.

Our lips collided, igniting a wildfire of desire that consumed both of us. I encircled my arms around his neck as he rounded his arms around my waist to tell me to jump in his arms. He got me in front of the wall as we passionately deepened the kiss till it became electric for both of us, he lifted my legs around his waist as he held me by the back of my thighs.

He wanted to show me that I was his and his only.

We took a break as our harsh breaths were exchanged against our lips. He had dazed eyes filled with lust that I had too. Our lips swollen as we caught our breath.

"You're mine, you still need to delete his number."

I sniggered. "I didn't save it in the first place."

  "That's my girl."

He said it proudly that it made me kiss him again, this time it was more slower as we comfortably kissed, my nose rested on his cheek when I tilted my head — his kisses were wild and possessive and I found myself loving it even more than before.

"Ahem, no baby making in the rooms."

"Brady, fuck off," I hid my face on Axel's neck when Axel's booming voice warned Brady.

"Gladly, captain." He saluted before he waltzed to Jade, probably telling her what we were doing.

The doorbell rang and last time I checked, Brady's entrance always had unwanted guests. It wasn't going to be good.

Axel placed me down gently and we walked hand in hand until what we saw made us stop dead in our tracks.
