AS VIVIENNE WALKS DOWN THE DIMLY LIT STREET, she reaches up and gently wipes the tears from her eyes. the soft glow of the street lights guides her way while she gazes up at the moon, its silvery light casting a luminous glow on her tear-streaked face. a few rain droplets mingle with her tears, tracing delicate paths down her cheeks.

after what felt like forever of bottling up her emotions, tonight is the tipping point. the overwhelming urge to release all her pent-up anger is irresistible especially after hope had told her that bullshit about matt caring for her not long ago. she finds herself standing in front of the sturniolo's front door, her fists alternating between knocking and banging against the solid wood. her arms are tightly crossed as she seeks solace from the chill of the rain, which has soaked her to the skin. the water drips from the ends of her hair, forming pools around her shoes, as she stands there shivering.

she gently brushes her hand over her tired eyes once again, feeling the weight of exhaustion. the metallic click of the door lock fills the air, and chris enters the doorway, his expression etched with anger. however, as his gaze lands on vivienne, the ire in his eyes dissipates, replaced by concern and a hint of distraction. "vivienne, are you okay?" his words tremble with worry.
