"Helena, nothing will happen. I am here, right beside you", Daxton said as he rushed Helena to the hospital as her contractions worsened.

"Dax, it is hurting so bad", she said as tears rolled down her eyes.

"Do not worry. We are just there", he said as he drove faster.

Time passed, and after a painful couple of hours of labor, the sounds of a baby crying were heard in the hospital, making Daxton and Rachel smile with teary eyes. The nurse came out of the ward and smiled as she removed her surgical mask.

"Congratulations, it's a girl."

Daxton hugged Rachel and they both laughed, feeling ecstatic. They were so excited to be uncle and aunt to this tiny bean.

"Thank you so much, Ma'am. Can we meet them", Daxton asked, smiling wide.

"Just a few examinations are left. Then we will shift both the mother and baby to the visitor's ward, and you can meet them", the nurse smiled and left.

Daxton rushed to the visitor's room when he was called in. Helena smiled weakly at him. Rachel went to the crib and smiled in awe. But her smile faltered as she realized that Daxton was heading in her direction instead of going to the crib.

"Daxton, the crib is there-"

"Shh. Let me look at my first baby first. Then we can move to my niece", he said as he hugged her gently.

He ruffled her hair and handed her a beautiful bouquet of pink tulips, her favorite flowers. He checked her carefully to see if she was in pain.

"Are you okay", he asked her worriedly as he kissed her forehead.

She nodded with a smile, her eyes full of affection.

"Did it hurt a lot?"

"It did, but then the nurse got me an epidural and it felt better", Helena said softly.

"Congratulations, my sweetheart. My tiny baby sister is now a mother", he said as he started tearing up.

"Dax, please do not cry", Helena said as her eyes glistened too.

"Congratulations, Helena", Rachel said softly as she walked to her too.

"Thank you Rachel", Helena said softly.

"The baby is just so cute. I can't wait to have ours, right Daxton", Rachel said with a smile.

"Of course. I want our babies to be good friends, right Helena", he teased.

"I cannot wait for you two to give the news then", Helena said softly.

"Actually, you do not have to wait. I am expecting our baby in five months", Rachel grinned.

Helena's jaw dropped.

"Woah, are you serious? Why was I not told earlier", she whined.

"I know you would not have let Daxton and me help you with your chores. So we thought to break this news to you once you deliver", Rachel said with a smile.

"Congratulations to both of you. I just cannot wait for our babies to play together", Helena said as she hugged the couple.

"Now, now. Let me meet my niece. After all, I will be the dashing uncle", Daxton said cheekily as he broke off the hug.

"Yeah, Uncle Cool", Helena mocked.

"Woah! She is so tiny", Daxton stared at her in awe.

He took the baby into his arms and she yawned, making Daxton's heart full of love. He frowned a bit, the baby looked just like Edwin.

"What happened, Daxton", Helena asked softly.

"Nothing", Daxton said, shaking his head, not wanting her to be reminded of Edwin again.

She was finally able to laugh and smile, and he did not want her to be reminded of Edwin anytime soon.

"Her yawns are so adorable, that it made me feel emotional", Daxton lied.

"Do they remind you of me", Helena asked innocently.

"Yes, of course. She is your baby. I am sure she will take after you", Daxton laughed as he handed the baby to Helena.

Helena nodded as she looked at her baby, smiling at the sleeping angel.

"Helena, I will be back to you. I have to drop Rachel off at her gynecologist for an ultrasound. Call me if you have any problem here", he said while patting her head and walking out with Rachel.

'You didn't have to lie to me, Dax. I know you noticed how much she resembles Ed. She is her literal carbon copy. I am afraid that he will take my angel away from me. I never want him to find me', she thought as her mind filled with anxious thoughts.

Maybe, God heard her. Three years went by, and surprisingly enough, Helena never heard of Edwin. Slowly, she got busy with her little princess, Bella. She slowly started to forget about Edwin. She forgave him and decided to move on. It had almost been a decade since Sam died, and she could not live with the regret and guilt from those days anymore. She had to live, she had to move on. But still, she had nightmares. Earlier, they were for herself. Now, her nightmares revolved around her little angel. She was the most important possession for her. And she knew she had to protect her, even if it meant that she would have to die.

"Helena, where are the kids?"

She got up from the ground with a basket full of veggies.

"Ah, Bella and Dave are playing across the field", she said to Rachel.

"Okay. I will check on them", she said and walked away.

Helena smiled at her and started walking back home to cook her meals. It was early morning and she was there to pluck vegetables for her restaurant. She could not continue law practice in that small town, but she could surely start the restaurant, which would bring them some money to live. It was a peaceful and loving neighborhood. She was serene there, away from the sorrows of her life. Surely, Bella's face reminded her of Edwin too much. Even after what he did to her, Helena would remember him, and their bittersweet moments. Sometimes, she wished for him to find her, even if that was the only way she could get to see him once again.

"Momma!"

Helena turned around and smiled at her little girl. She opened her arms and kneeled. The tiny girl ran straight into her embrace, snuggling in her arms.

"Did my baby have a nice time", Helena asked while ruffling her hair.

"Yes, momma. Dave and I played a lot", she giggled.

"Very good. Now, let's get ready. We have to go to school, right", she caressed her cheek.

She took her tiny hand in hers and started walking towards her home. She checked the mailbox to get the newspaper. She picked up the paper when a package fell. She frowned. There were never any packages from her in the past three years. It looked like a speed-post. Her eyes went to the address, and her face turned pale.

The address was the same as Edwin's residence.
