Despite the chaos going on around her, she was so excited for her first B.E.T. Her team stressed and fussed over her the whole ride with her makeup artist steadily touching up her makeup and her hairstylist ensuring her hair was bone straight.
When they reached the red carpet, she took a deep breath looked herself over again on her phone, and waited for her security to open her door.
She hoped Jamal could make it still. When she was getting ready, he was still on his flight back. He was confident he would make it in time for her performance.
Her security opened the door and the crowd became wild. She almost cried when her fans started chanting her name with posters of her face, encouraging words, and pictures she had taken with some of them.
