As Niki arrived home, he saw his dad standing in the hallway, staring him down with a cold, unforgiving glare.

"Good evening, Da—" Niki began, trying to remain calm.

His words were cut off by a stinging slap across his face.

"YOU DARE HANG OUT WITH THAT FAGGOT AGAIN AFTER I TOLD YOU NOT TO?" his father roared, his face contorted with rage.

"DAD, HE'S MY FRIEND!" Niki shouted back, feeling a mix of anger and fear.

"FAGS DON'T DESERVE FRIENDS, OR EVEN LIFE," his father spat, his voice dripping with venom.

"I LOVE HIM, DAD," Niki blurted out, the words escaping before he could stop them.

"OH, SO YOU'RE ONE OF THEM TOO," his father sneered, his eyes narrowing.

"YES, DAD. ARE YOU SAYING YOUR OWN SON DOESN'T DESERVE LIFE?" Niki's voice trembled as he held his ground.

"YOU'RE A DISGRACE TO THIS FAMILY. STOP HANGING OUT WITH HIM, OR YOU WON'T LIKE THE ENDING," his father threatened, his voice low and menacing.

"DAD, PLEASE," Niki pleaded, his eyes filling with tears.

"I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT. GET OUT OF MY HOUSE NOW. AND DON'T COME BACK UNTIL THAT FAGGOT IS GONE, HES TURNING YOU WEAK. I CAN'T HAVE A WEAK GAY RUNNING MY COMPANY" his father bellowed, pointing towards the door.

Niki stood there for a moment, his heart pounding in his chest. He wanted to scream, to fight back, but he knew it would only make things worse. With a heavy heart, he turned and walked out of the house, the door slamming shut behind him.

The cool night air hit his face, mingling with the warmth of his tears. He wandered aimlessly for a while, his mind racing with emotions. He felt lost, hurt, and utterly alone.

Eventually, he found himself at a park, sitting on a bench. He pulled out his phone and stared at the screen, contemplating who to call. Finally, he decided to reach out to the one person he knew he could trust.

"Jay hyung," he whispered into the phone, his voice shaking. "I need help."

"Niki? What's wrong?" Jay's concerned voice came through the line.

"I... I got kicked out," Niki confessed, his tears flowing freely now.

"Where are you? I'm coming to get you," Sunoo Jay without hesitation.

Niki gave him the address of the park, and within minutes, Jay arrived, his face filled with worry. He wrapped Niki in a comforting hug, letting him cry on his shoulder.

"It's going to be okay, Riki," Jay whispered soothingly. "We'll figure this out together."

They stayed like that for a while, Jay providing the support and comfort Niki desperately needed. When Niki finally calmed down, Jay suggested they go back to his place.

"You can stay with me for as long as you need," Jay offered, his voice filled with determination.

"Thank you hyung," Niki said, feeling a glimmer of hope amidst the darkness.
