About a week after the fallout between Sunoo and Niki, Mr. Bahng pulled Sunoo aside for a private conversation.

"Sunoo," Mr. Bahng began, his tone serious but kind, "two things. First, are you and Niki okay? Did you get into an argument?"

"Yeah, something like that," Sunoo responded, his voice low and filled with a mixture of sadness and frustration.

"Ah, I see," Mr. Bahng said, nodding. "Well, I'm always open to talk if you need someone to listen. But on to the second thing. After your performance at the Showcase, the JYP Performance School was absolutely amazed and wants you to attend for the rest of the year."

Sunoo's eyes widened in disbelief. "THE JYP PERFORMANCE SCHOOL? THAT'S LIKE THE BEST PERFORMANCE SCHOOL IN THE COUNTRY. MOST IDOLS GO THERE."

"Correct, Sunoo," Mr. Bahng confirmed, a proud smile on his face. "And they want you. If you're interested, let me know as soon as possible. You would begin next week."

Sunoo's mind raced as he processed the news. Attending JYP Performance School was a dream come true for any aspiring performer. It was an incredible opportunity, one that could shape his future in ways he had only imagined.

But amidst the excitement, Sunoo felt a pang of guilt. His unresolved issues with Niki and the recent separation made it hard for him to fully embrace the news. "I don't even know what to say," Sunoo said, still in shock. "This is amazing, but... I'm worried about Niki. I don't know if I can focus on this right now."

"I understand," Mr. Bahng said sympathetically. "It's a lot to take in, especially with everything going on with Niki. But sometimes, these opportunities come at pivotal moments in our lives. It's important to consider what's best for your future, even if it's difficult."

Sunoo nodded slowly, trying to balance his emotions. "I'll think about it and let you know.""Take your time," Mr. Bahng said with a reassuring smile. "And remember, whatever you decide, you have my full support."

As Sunoo walked away from the conversation, his thoughts were a whirlwind of excitement, anxiety, and concern. He knew that he had to make a decision soon, and it was weighing heavily on him. With the opportunity of a lifetime before him and his friend's well-being on his mind, Sunoo faced a crossroads that would shape both his career and his personal life.

Sunoo burst into the school courtyard where Jungwon and Jake were hanging out, his excitement barely contained.

"WONNIE, JAKEY, GUESS WHAT!" he shouted.

"What?" they both replied in unison, their curiosity piqued.

"The JYP Performance School wants me to attend for the rest of the year!" Sunoo exclaimed, his eyes wide with a mix of excitement and nervousness.

"Omg, that's so exciting, Sunoo!" Jake said, grinning from ear to ear.

Jungwon, however, looked at Sunoo with a more serious expression. "Well, are you going to?"Sunoo hesitated, his excitement faltering. "I-I don't know."

"What do you mean?" Jungwon asked, his concern evident.

"I'm just worried about Niki," Sunoo admitted, his voice barely above a whisper.

"Maybe this will help," Jungwon suggested thoughtfully. "You'll be separated, and his dad can't do anything. It's for the better, Sun."

Sunoo considered Jungwon's words, but his internal conflict was still palpable. "Yeah, you're right. I'll go tell Mr. Bahng right now."

"Wonnie," Jake said, his voice tinged with sadness, "you know that will destroy Niki."

Jungwon looked at Jake, his heart heavy. "I know, Jakey. But it's for the better of both of them."

Jake nodded in agreement, understanding the difficult decision Sunoo was facing. "It's a tough situation, but sometimes difficult choices are necessary for long-term happiness and safety."

As Sunoo walked away to meet with Mr. Bahng, Jungwon and Jake watched from a distance. They could see Sunoo's excitement and determination as he approached the teacher's office. The way he spoke with Mr. Bahng, his face lit up with a hopeful smile, only made the situation more poignant.

Jungwon glanced at Jake, a mixture of sadness and concern in his eyes. "It's hard to watch him so happy knowing what this decision means for both him and Niki."

Jake sighed, nodding in agreement. "I know. It's going to break both of their hearts, but I hope they both find a way through this."

They stood in silence, watching Sunoo enthusiastically discuss his upcoming opportunity. The contrast between his visible excitement and the underlying pain they knew he was feeling was heart-wrenching.

As Sunoo and Mr. Bahng finished their conversation and Sunoo exited the office, he had a satisfied, albeit bittersweet, look on his face. He walked towards his friends, his smile a little more subdued now, but still carrying a sense of determination.

"I did it," Sunoo said, joining Jungwon and Jake. "I told Mr. Bahng I'm going. I start next week."Jake and Jungwon both forced smiles, trying to be supportive despite their own feelings of sadness.

"That's great, Sunoo," Jungwon said softly. "You deserve this."

"Yeah," Jake added, putting a hand on Sunoo's shoulder. "It's a huge opportunity. We're really proud of you."

Sunoo looked between them, sensing their unease. "Thanks, guys. I know it's a lot, and I appreciate your support."

Jungwon put an arm around Sunoo's shoulders, guiding him away from the office. "We'll be here for you. And we'll support Niki in any way we can, too."

Sunoo nodded, the weight of the decision settling heavily on his shoulders. As they walked together, the reality of the situation sunk in.
