SHANAYA

After a soothing shower I changed into cosy night pyjamas, I headed to the kitchen to brew a cup of coffee. With my steaming cup in hand, I stepped out onto the balcony, where the starry night sky and the soft moonlight enveloped me.

The crisp breeze sent a shiver down my spine, prompting me to wrap a shawl around my shoulders. As I took a sip of the rich coffee, my mind began to wander back to the party earlier today.

And then, like a sudden jolt, I remembered that intense eye contact - "the kind of eye contact that made my heart race and my soul stir".

My pulse quickened, and I felt a flutter in my chest, as if the memory itself was alive and pulsing with energy.

Maybe it's "love at first sight" - a phenomenon I never believed in until now.

But here "I am, smiling like this for the first time today", and perhaps for the first time in my life.

It's as if my heart has been waiting for this moment, and "it's finally found its reason to bloom".

For the first time in my life, I feel like I'm walking on air. I've never experienced the thrill of love, but today, being with him, I felt happiness even for just few minutes but I felt happiness I've never known before.

And then, like a whispered secret, he called me "Miss Armani" and my heart skipped a beat. Butterflies erupted in my stomach, dancing with excitement, as if they too felt the spark of something special.

It's as if my heart has been waiting for this moment, and now, it's soaring with joy.

I've crossed paths with countless business individuals, but none have ever stirred something deep within me... until him.

"And the moment our eyes met, everything else faded away". Leaving only the two of us, suspended in a moment of pure connection.

"They say love at first sight is rare, but when it happens, it's unmistakable" . But today, I became a believer.

With the thoughts of him for the first time in years, I drifted off to sleep with a heart full of peace, and a smile still etched on my face. I'm revelling in the joy of being on cloud nine.

IMRAN

After a long day, I returned home, exhausted, and hastily showered before collapsing into bed. My alarm pierced through my peaceful slumber, jolting me awake at 5:00 AM. Groggily, I got out of bed and began my morning routine.

The soothing call of the Azaan drew me to the masjid, where I performed my salah and then embarked on a refreshing two-hour walk. Feeling invigorated, I returned home, freshened up, and prepared for the day ahead.

As I descended the stairs, I was greeted by the warm smile of my mother, who was busily preparing my breakfast.

"Good morning, beta", she said, beckoning me to take a seat.
"Your breakfast is ready."

As I sat down to eat, I felt a surge of anger seeing my mother making all alone breakfast and I blurted out, "Mom, you shouldn't be doing all this! We have maids to help with household chores."

But instead of scolding me, Mom's face softened, and she said,

"Beta, I love taking care of you, just like I did when you were small. What's the harm in doing it now?"

I protested, "But Mom, your health isn't good; please listen to me for once!", She chuckled and replied,

"Okay, okay, fine, bacha! Now start your breakfast before it gets cold"
