[A/N: hi guys, this chapter is collaborated with @wizardyel her story entitled “Psychotic Disaster” in which you will meet ‘Morgan Winsley Ph.D., RPsy, Rpm’, the psychologist of Remy and the others.]

In the years that followed their harrowing journey to Past Island, Remy found himself in a place he never imagined he would be—peaceful, fulfilled, and surrounded by the warmth of family. His wife, Erika, had been his rock through the darkest times, and their two children, Darcus and Eve, were the lights of his life. The once brooding man who carried the weight of his past had transformed into a devoted husband and father, finding joy in the simplest moments.

One evening, as Remy watched his children play in the garden, he felt a stirring deep within him. It was an old familiar itch, one that he had ignored for too long—the need to write. He had always found solace in words, and it was time to tell the story that had shaped him and the boys. With Erika's encouragement, Remy decided to pen down their experiences, the lessons learned, the battles fought, and their journey of redemption on Past Island.

The book was more than just a recounting of events; it was a testament to their resilience and growth. Remy poured his heart and soul into the pages, hoping to offer a beacon of hope to those who might find themselves lost in their own darkness.

Writing about Past Island was no easy feat for Remy. The memories were vivid, and the emotions they evoked were still raw. But he knew that sharing their story was important, not just for himself, but for the boys, and anyone else who might benefit from their journey.

Remy started with the beginning—their lives before Past Island. He recounted the days filled with sorrow, guilt, and a sense of hopelessness. Each of them had been trapped in their own personal hell, unable to find a way out. Remy's workaholism had distanced him from his family, Jax was drowning in grief over the loss of his brother, and Raiver was haunted by the traumatic experience of witnessing his friend's death.

He detailed their initial reluctance to participate in the therapy sessions with Morgan. Trust was a fragile thing, and they had all been burned before. But Morgan's gentle persistence and genuine empathy had slowly broken down their walls.

// Remy’s Session with Morgan //

Remy vividly recalled his first session with Morgan. The memory was etched in his mind, a pivotal moment that marked the beginning of his healing process. He described the apprehension he felt as he sat in Morgan's office, the weight of his grief pressing down on him.

"How are you, Remy? You can tell me everything you're comfortable sharing," Morgan had said.

Remy's fingers fidgeted with his sleeve as he hesitated. "I work a lot. It's easier than thinking about... everything else."

Morgan nodded understandingly. "Work can be a way to distract ourselves, to avoid facing painful emotions. But it's important to address those feelings too. Can you tell me about your mother?"

A wave of pain had crossed Remy's face as he spoke about his mother. "She was everything to me. Always supportive, always there. And I... I wasn't there when she needed me the most."

His voice had cracked as he fought back tears. "I was too busy with work. I thought I had time. But I was wrong."

Morgan's empathy had been palpable. "That's incredibly hard to carry. I feel you, I know what it feels like when you weren't beside someone you loved deeply."

Remy’s voice had been a whisper. "I can't forgive myself."

"It's not your fault, Remy. You were building your career, not knowing what would happen. If you had known, you would have been there," Morgan had reassured him.
