Michael's POV

Going to the doctors with Maeve made me realize that this is real and not just some kind of dream. She really is pregnant with my child and I even shed a tear when I first saw it on the ultrasound.

I knew that Maeve and I had some issues we needed to discuss, so that's what we are doing now.

Today was the last day of rehearsals before we leave on Sunday which is 2 days from now.

So after work today I invited her to Neverland to have the conversation I've been trying to avoid the whole week.

Before we got to the serious part we enjoyed a nice dinner.

We were sitting opposite each other with our empty plates infront of. No one said a word but we both knew we eventually had to come clean and that wasn't happening without us arguing.

While we both remained silent I was admiring her. I really wanted to call her mine again, especially now. She's caring MY child. Since I found out my love for her only grew and I just know she feels the same.

I was lost in the blue of her eyes when Maeve attracted my attention by grabbing my hand and squeezing it tight.

"I think we really should at least try to have THAT conversation" she said and I simply nodded.

"Ok..." she took a deep breath before starting. "First of all, I want you to talk to me directly. I don't want us to talk through other people when these are things concerning YOU AND ME or OUR CHILD. What were you thinking when you sent Frank to talk to me?" she was angry.

"I knew you'd be angry, that's why I told him to discuss this with you."

"He tried to fire me!" she snapped at me.

"Well yeah, about that... I really don't want you to-"

"Are you serious? I'm not going to stay all day in a hotel room waiting for you when I can continue doing what I love."

"Traveling adds a lot of stress on you. Stress is not good for the baby, Maeve" I stated nothing but facts and by the look on Maeve's face she wasn't pleased.

"Ok, I'm going to take it slow then-"

"No, Maeve. I want you to stay here and concentrate on yourself and OUR baby. I don't want you traveling the world risking not only your health but also your safety."

"I'm not staying behind Michael! I want to work and I promise you I'll take care of myself" she put her hand on her heart as she spoke.

"Don't you want me around anymore?" she then asked with glassy eyes.

"I want you around, always! I just want you and our baby to be safe, that's all" I confessed.

"But we'll be safe when we're with you" she grabbed my hand again.

"Ok" I finally gave in after thinking for a while. I guess there's nothing I can do to change her mind. I can't lock her in, can I? "But you'll talk to me when it gets too much for you!" I added.

"I will" she answered.

"You really threatened with going to the tabloids?" I laughed after a short silence.

Maeve just shrugged her shoulders and looked to the side smirking. She didn't answer.

"What about the DNA - Test?"

"What DNA-Test?" I asked confused.

"Frank told me you wanted a DNA-Test as proof that this child is yours" she said and folded her arms infront of her. "Oh and you wanted me to change doctors?!"

"Maeve, I really don't know any of this! I only wanted you to stop working, to keep you safe, that's all I was asking Frank to tell you."

"So you didn't want a list of all my contacts to 'eliminate' any threats towards your career?"

"What?!"

"What does 'eliminate' mean in that context?" Maeve asked.

"I really don't want to know" I told her before trying to think what has gotten into Frank when he was talking to Maeve.

She kept staring at me while I was in deep thoughts.

"Please believe me when I say that I didn't ordere any of this!"

I needed to talk to Frank, this is unacceptable. He was probably trying to protect the brand 'Michael Jackson' by controlling Maeve. But I won't let that happen!

She just nodded and I noticed her eyes water. She looked to the side trying to hide her sorrow.

"Is that all he said?" I asked carefully, scared that there might be more.

The tears now started rolling down her cheek while I waited patiently for her to answer.

"He said he needed to do damage control before it's too late" she buried her head in her hands.

I quickly stood up and hugged her tight. I was kneeling infront of her, comforting her.

I placed my hands on her stomach. "This is a blessing and I couldn't be happier!"

I let her calm down but stayed by her side. "I felt intimidated by all of these people. I felt like they wanted to control me, is this what you have to go through all the time?"

"No" I shook my head. "They can't control me, but they try to control everyone around me. You'll figure it out eventually" I smiled at her.

"How do I know who I can trust?" she then asked.

I sighted deeply. "You'll develop a sense for this pretty quickly."

She was quiet for a while, probably deep in her thoughts. I was still kneeling infront of her, watching her closely.

"Do you trust Tatiana?" she then asked out of the blue.

I looked at her confused. "What happened between the two of you?"

"Well, I brought you your lunch yesterday, but you weren't there. She was and she treated me like shit. She's arrogant and I don't like her." her voice held shame in it. But I know that Maeve isn't someone who's ashamed of who she is.

She's one of the nicest people I know. She doesn't trust people easily but I know that she barley dislikes people. Admitting that she doesn't like someone must be hard for her.

"I don't trust her, I never did."
