Kopa's P.O.V

As the future King, I was given the task of making this peace deal with the Tree of Life possible. King Baliyo was coming here and I had to be ready. If all went well, this 'peace' treaty would allow us to conquer the Tree of Life. Of course mom and dad wouldn't allow it but since they're going away for a few days, they'll never know. Besides, I'm acting as King so Kiara and her Lion Guard can't stop me. In fact, no one can. Not even Grandfather Mufasa. I've heard that he and that old monkey Rafiki have been helping that wimp Kion and some other lioness. I don't know who though and it doesn't matter. Scar told me that without Kion and his roar, my plan will work. Of course, I haven't seen that fiery freak in a while so he may not even witness my brilliance.

"Ah, King Baliyo, welcome to Pride Rock. I hope that the my sister and her second in command got you here alright.", I welcomed the King with smooth talk.

"Yes, they did a fine, fine job.", he replied before winking to Kiara and Fuli, making them blush. It was then when I thought, "What did they do?", but kept it to myself.

"Good. Is your sister Rani here? She is quite a beauty.", I questioned, hoping to see that marvellous lioness again.

"I see that age gaps don't matter to you.", I joked, making me look like a fool but all I could do is shrug it off. He then continued, "Unfortunately for you, she 'killed' our grandmother. Of course she old hag only died of age but with her out of the way, ruling would be so much easier."

"You are correct on that. To me, age is just a number." As it became apparent that our goals and tactics were similar, I hesitated on whether or not I should attack. But in the end, my hunger for power took over and I gave the word. "Unfortunately for you, your rule will not last any longer. You really have disappointed your parents and their legacy."

"What do you mean?", he asked me but it was too late for him. Lionesses began clawing him, knocking him unconscious. He sat in a scarlet red pool of blood. He was alive but barely. Kiara looked shocked but I had a perfect solution to this.

Rafiki came running up to try and help the King and asked what had happened. "Well Rafiki, Kiara and Fuli had fought over the King's marriage whilst Beshte, Ono and Bunga were patrolling."

"Is this true?", the old baboon asked, baffled.

All around him, my followers nodded in confirmation whilst the two looked angry.

"And unfortunately, there is no excuse for this behaviour. You two shall be banished for 3 months. After your sentence has been served, you may return in time for my coronation. And let us pray that the King finds mercy. Though his punishment may be far more harsh. And if he cannot be saved, it will be considered as murder.", I finished as the two were taken away.

Omari, my second in command walked up to me. "Should we arrest the others?"

"No. You should kill them.", I replied coldly, an evil grin building upon my face.

"It shall be done.", he answered, though I could tell that neither he nor the others could bring themselves to kill the trio. They would at least try to make it convincing.

"Good. See to it personally that this mission is a success and lock down the Pride Lands. No one comes in or out without my authority and mine alone. Now go!", I commanded as he rushed away silently.
