Y/n's POV:

Later that day, just before the sun was completely down, it was Rosie's turn to visit me. As I gave her usual drink and calm her motherly side to check me for my every possible injuries, hunger and thirst, she sat down and tried to break the ice.

-So... What do they wanted from you? They didn't try to force you onto something, did they?

-Do not worry Rosie, they didn't force me into anything. You know I wouldn't let myself do that.

I walk to her, putting my hand on her shoulder to comfort her, before sitting in the seat in front of her.

-So... Do we have a deal, Y/n?

I thought again of what this deal could implied. It won't imply any souls, but I'll have to help them having Alastor in the Spiders and they would answer questions I supposely don't know. It does seems fair. But what could I possibly need answers?

Wait. Could she meant...

-As answers, you also mean... The person who killed me? He is in Hell already?

-You'll know his whole identity if you make the deal. All that implies or is related to you we know. We know where to search.

I took a breath, already had taken my decision for long as I took my hand on Arabelle's.

-Arabelle, you have my word and deal.

As a red, almost turning into a pink hue of light blinded everyone in the room, the deal was seal and I knew I now couldn't back down without facing major consequences.

-In fact, I made a deal with them.

Rosie almost choked on her drink as her mind ran of thoughts I knew was full of worry.

-Y/n, I thought we agree to not make any deal with them! They are dangerous Overlords, you don't know what you are about to live with them having your soul.

-Don't you worry Rosie. I didn't sell my soul to them. In fact, I don't have theirs either, which isn't too bad already.

While she asked for explications, I explain everything that happened from her last call until the time they all exit my home. Every word was tell and no details were swoop under the carpet.

-All I'll have to do is to take Amber's place in the group, try to convince Alastor to give back her soul and bring him in their team. In exchange, I can have their immediate help in anything of similar time or energy that won't implied of claiming their souls and the answers to everything in Hell related or implying myself.

-So, in conclusion, they already know who did kill you?

Rosie exclamed, trying to cope every information I gave her only a minute ago. I nodded, confirming her words.

-That could help you a lot on this point. You who wanted to know who it was, now you have a chance to do know it all.

She was right. It was my chance to know who indeed killed me. All I wanted was an escape, to be actually free for once. But my fate obviously decided otherwise. Once this accident, then my mom, other actions than the fire accident, it almost touched a marriage I didn't want... Now, it includes unrequired love from him and a deal.

Soul on a leash or not, I am sure it was somewhat similar to what I lived before.

-You already know what I want to do with my killer. Infliged him something as painful as he did to me.

-Because the tall figure was the one of a man you told me?

-Yes. I don't care if it indeed made me escape my family for God knows how long, I wanted to be free, not the forcefully named bride's dead corpse.

I made a pause, thinking for some time of how I should bring this conversation to the main point again and not to personnal details.

-Back to the deal, one of them should come pick me up soon. The peacock one, Alexander if I'm not in the wrong. He is supposed to make me a whole new and prettier person. That's his words, not mine's

-And you are already pretty. He is just... Umm...

I sighed, knowing what she meant but still responded to her to help the searching of the perfect term.

-An ornery old bitch?

-Arrogant and bit selfish, but that could work too.

-Well, he does hold well the animal theme you know...

I knew that was indecent, but it slipped out my mouth so fast I didn't try to stop myself.

-Or he is just like that because the animal's name is what is really between his legs.

-Y/n!

Rosie tried to scold me, but it was in vain since, from afar, I could hear the door swung open as green and blue feathers made their apparition.

-Ehh~ what's up Y/n! Ready for the relooking?

I could see in an instant how just the tone of voice annoyed Rosie, and the reasons were both obvious and understandable: those two were opposites. One being motherly and calm, the other one, well...

Let's only say extravagant to stay polite.

-I can already tell you I'm awaiting the end, I stated.

-Well sure you will, because you will look amazing!

He replied, not really taking I don't want this to happen. But there's our deal, he'll have to do clothes and hair like we promised.

For what seemed like another lifetime, and the clock telling us it was only 2 hours, all we did is find clothes and a beautiful hairstyles to match. Once a color that doesn't fit me, another time being too large and too many times too revealing. All being Alexander's annoying fashion comments excepted the last one who was from Rosie. It seemed like we couldn't find anything that would be perfect.

I got out my bathroom, which had turned into a changing room for what Alexander called relooking as I waited for another nasty comment of his that'll make me want to tear apart every feathers of his annoyingly long tail or my dear friend to say it's too revealing on me.

To my shock, nothing of those were what they answered the outfit.

-Y/n...

Rosie started, either shocked or contented by what it looked to be covering my body.

-That would be perfect! Not too revealing but enough to turn all men's heads to you! That'll be the one for the show.

An outfit as blue as sapphires with some white and black at certain spots and was covering most of my legs. My hair was let loose, showing better the shape and color that was holding in them. Indeed a beautiful pair, and was hiding well what I hated the most on my body from the human life.

-Hope to see you in a good shape tomorrow for the show!

Alexander responded while letting me in the blue clothings and exiting my home. I choked on my saliva and shouted, in shocked:

-Wait... Tomorrow!?
