Y/n's POV:

I don't know how much time passed since I got pushed in there. I couldn't know anyway, no outdoor ray of light was showing for the simple reason that there was no window to have any of them. Nothing could be done. The door was locked, cameras were looking at us both. We were trapped here.

But it's not like I didn't know he would trap me somewhere. What I didn't know was how I wouldn't be alone in this mess. Particularly her, Amber.

Each one of us were sitting in opposites corners, no words coming from the other. She was looking outside the room, staring at the fishes while I was staring at the walls, every little cracks that traces and marks it deep in it's skin. None of us tried to engage the conversation, none wanted to break the ice with the other. It was something that I could understand. I know who she is, in a way where it was like I knew her my entire life. However, I do know little of her. It was so confusing, trying to find which one would explain the best the thread that joined us together.

-So... I guess you also gave your soul to him. It's easy to see through you.

She took the plunge and asked, her eyes locked to the aquariums out the jail door, her voice holding a soft soprano that almost sounded melodic when you hear it better.

-I would say it's more obvious because we are both here.

A pause closed the conversation for a moment before I was the one who took the lead.

-So... Can I guess Andrew lied to us all about who took you soul?

-Yeah... Indeed he did. Here, I'll tell you the truth.

What he probably told you all is about that deal I tried to make with the Radio Demon and how I lost. Well, that ain't exactly the truth.

Andrew was the one who told me to make that deal. And I told Alastor Andrew's exact words of a deal. But instead, I made a slight change in all of this. If there is a tie between us, then none of us will have the other's soul. So we agreed and played the game.

At the end, it was a tie.

So indeed, Alastor didn't became my soul owner. Nor did I become his, like Andrew's plan was. So I came back that same night, explaining what happened between us, the anger in his eyes became evident. He treated me like I was weaker than him, that I wasn't good enough to stop you and him. Because, indeed, it was you and him that he wanted. He wants Alastor's head. From you, he wanted your heart.

He locked me in this place, trying to convince everyone that I lost and the Radio Demon took my soul. What actually happened was that he found a way to take my soul instead and got them all fools that wanted revenge of him.

-And that's how they knew you'd be able to help them. He convinced them and is surely trying to lie again on your case.

-But I'm okay. I can deal with this in some way. Alastor doesn't need to become a weapon or savior in armour to save me, or us.

-No, Y/n... I mean that he'll try to kill him.

-But how? I thought we needed angelic weapons to fully kill a demon... Right?

-Why do you think Andrew is so confident he'll be able to kill him, Y/n?

This time, nothing came out my mouth. It was like something was stopping the air in my lungs to speak, like it wouldn't pass up my throat. I didn't know if I should say this was painful or only hard to understand.

We changed subject and talked a while more. That's how we both learned we are more similar that it seems. Both of us were music lovers and born with a musician parent. And while I talked how fun life was back in New Orleans, she talked how was her life in Southampton, in Great Britain, however, how she wanted to visit America and live a New York like life. How both of us had siblings back then, and how our souls came to Hell. How both of us looked like, how our death leaded to how we look now. We only had a short age difference, both feeling similar situations back to back. In a short period of time, not only we had a strong friendship, but I felt like she could be one of the very few I could trust with anything.

Nonetheless, our happiness half faded away when our soul owner came back with what seemed to be new clothes. Thank God, that ripped white dress needed to be changed, it was a tad too short now. Sorry Alex to had ripped it though.

-Here you go. 3 minutes ladies, then it's as usual. Amber, you explain to her, I don't have time for this.

The siren Overlord looked to the wall to give me some intimacy while I changed in a corner where the camera will be less on my almost naked body. Dang those cameras.

-To explain, we each get a new pair of designed clothes for the day. Our job is to lure his clients to get the more we can get that has value.

When I at the clothes I now had on, I could see how he wanted us to lure them.

Being revealing and flirty... What a lack of originality.

-Is that why this dress is sleeveless, tight and the skirt is almost the size of a belt?!

-Yeah... Anyways. Money, jewelry, ego, power, soul... Everything here has a price. Most of the clients usually get drunk, so it does help the job. Just take the more you can and you shouldn't have a problem. Listen and follow what Andrew says and you won't have any either.

I spread my wings around me, the feeling of being naked being the only one I had while nodding in comprehension what my job was. I turned around to let her privacy too and only turned back when she let me a vocal signal. Her dress was black, but quite similar to what mine looked like. Only slightly less reavealing.

-Let's go ladies.

The door opened on two bodyguards that took us harshly by the arm and brought us back in the elevator, only to part ways and be in different casino like rooms. Mine being the VIP one, where Andrew were. The feeling of freezing in fear came back, my heart pounding in my chest. Just enough that it felt like all those Overlords could hear it. Including the ones I could easily recognize: Aphrodite and Aspen.

-Here they are... Come here, sugar.

His tentacle wrapped around my arm, getting myself to follow as it forced me to sit on his lap. But I didn't done anything against it. After all, I don't want to have any trouble coming from him. Particularly in fromt of all those Overlords, who must be around 20 in there.

-How beautiful you are sugar. Just for me, just for your owner.

His hand roamed down my thigh, holding me in place as he played many card games, only to win them all and take more money each them. Then, one soul from one of them. Some extra money he winned placed on my dress' top. A gesture, I'm sure, is only to feel me there...

I'm trapped. But this time, I won't ask someone to save me. I'll save myself alone, and I'll bring Amber with me on this new escape I have to make.
