———————————————————————You soon wake up by the feeling of your phone buzzing in your pocket. It was Mira, you look at Goo and notice that he fell asleep so you pick up the call and place the phone on your ear.
You quietly answer the call, trying not to wake Goo. "Hey, Mira," you whisper.
"Hey, where are you? I came by your house, but you weren't there," Mira says, sounding concerned.
You glance at Goo, making sure he's still asleep. "I'm at a friend's place. I'll be home soon."
You carefully stand up, making sure not to disturb Goo. Your ankle still hurts, but you manage to move quietly. As you tiptoe towards the door, you glance back at him one last time before slipping out of the room.
You flag down a cab and give the driver your address. The ride home is quiet, and you find yourself reflecting on the strange and eventful day. When you finally arrive home, you pay the driver, get out of the cab, and head inside. You lock the door behind you, feeling a mix of relief and exhaustion.
Mira immediately rushes over, her eyes wide with concern. "What happened to you? Are you okay?" she asks, looking at your bandaged ankle and the cut on your face. She gently guides you to the couch, urging you to sit down.
You assure her that you are fine, explaining, "It looks worse than it is. I just had a rough couple of days, but I'm okay now." Mira doesn't look entirely convinced but nods, her worry still evident. "Do you need anything? Food? Water? I can stay with you tonight if you want," she offers, her voice full of concern.
You tell her that you are fine and theres no need to worry which makes Mira feel a little relieved.
Mira hesitates but then nods. "Alright, if you say so. Just promise me you'll call if you need anything, okay?"
"I promise," you reply with a reassuring smile.
Mira gives you one last worried look before heading back to her place. As soon as she's gone, you let out a sigh of relief and head to your room to rest, hoping for a more peaceful day tomorrow.
Goo's eyes snap open as he realizes you're no longer beside him. He quickly gets up and scans the room. After a moment of concern, he heads to the front door, hoping to find some sign of where you might have gone.
He spots a note you left on the table saying, "Thank you for everything. I had to leave early. I'll explain everything later."
Relieved but still a bit anxious, Goo decides to give you some space but makes a mental note to check in with you later to ensure you're truly okay. Gun walks in the apartment looking for Goo and walks up to him when he notices his presence. When Goo sees him he grabs the note and shoves it in his pocket.
Gun raises an eyebrow at Goo's peculiar behavior but doesn't comment immediately. Instead, he casually walks over to the kitchen and grabs a drink, glancing back at Goo with a mix of curiosity and indifference.
"What's the deal?" Gun finally asks, noticing the note in Goo's pocket. "Is something up?"
Goo, still holding the note, looks at Gun with a more serious expression than usual. "Just something I need to deal with later," he replies. "But for now, let's focus on what we need to do."
Gun shrugs and nods, accepting Goo's answer for the time being as he takes a seat.
