Eugene adjusts his glasses, his expression serious. "Nothing harmful. We want to understand your abilities better. It could help us, and potentially, help you too."
Samuel nods in agreement. "Think of it as a way to control and enhance your gifts."
You hesitate, feeling a mix of curiosity and apprehension. "I'll consider it," you say finally. "But no promises."
Eugene smiles, seemingly satisfied with your response. "That's all we ask. For now."
You cross your arms, trying to maintain a sense of control in this uneasy situation. "So, what happens next? Where are you taking me?"
Eugene exchanges a look with Samuel before responding. "We'll take you to our facility. It's secure, and you'll be safe there. We'll explain everything in detail once we arrive."
You nod slowly, feeling the weight of the situation. "Alright, lead the way."
As they start moving, you glance around, hoping your plan with Goo works out.
Samuel walks beside you, his presence imposing. "Just follow us and everything will be fine," he says, his voice surprisingly gentle despite his intimidating appearance.
You nod and follow them, keeping your eyes sharp and taking in every detail of your surroundings. The tension in the air is thick, and you can't help but wonder what kind of experiments they have in mind.
You take a deep breath, steadying yourself as you follow Eugene and Samuel through the building. "What kind of experiments are we talking about?" you ask.
Eugene glances back at you, a smirk playing on his lips. "Just some tests to see the extent of your abilities. Nothing too extreme," he says, though his tone doesn't reassure you.
You glance at Samuel, who remains silent, his expression unreadable. You know you need to be careful, but you're determined to get through this and find out what they're planning.
You nod, steeling yourself for whatever comes next. "Alright, let's get this over with," you say, following them further into the facility. You remind yourself to stay vigilant, ready to use your powers if necessary, and keep your mind focused on your goal.
