As everyone gathers inside, laughter and chatter fill the room. You plop down on the couch, feeling pleasantly exhausted from all the running around. Mira heads to the kitchen to grab drinks while the others settle in, tossing snacks around and joking about their tag game.

Vasco flops down next to you, wiping sweat from his brow. "I can't believe how out of shape I am! I really thought I could outrun Daniel," he says, shaking his head with a chuckle.

Daniel leans against the wall, arms crossed. "You put up a good fight, though! I'm impressed."

You smile at the camaraderie around you, grateful for the laughter and lightheartedness. "I think we all did pretty well, considering how old we are for tag," you joke, nudging Vasco.

"Speak for yourself!" Zach interjects with a grin. "I'm still in my prime!"

Everyone laughs as Mira returns with drinks. She hands you a glass of lemonade, then distributes the rest among your friends. "So, what's next? Movie night?" she suggests, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Sounds perfect! I could use a break from all that running," you agree, sipping your lemonade.

"Any movie suggestions?" Jiho asks, stretching out on the floor.

"How about something scary?" Zoe chimes in. "After all that running, we need a good adrenaline rush"

"Or a comedy!" Vasco counters. "We need something to lighten the mood after all the craziness."

"I'm okay with either," you say, glancing around at your friends. "As long as we're together, I'm in!"

"Alright, let's compromise," Daniel says, standing up. "We'll start with a scary movie, and if it gets too intense, we can switch to a comedy!"

"Deal!" everyone agrees, and the group begins to decide on a scary movie to watch. The conversation continues as you all settle in, the atmosphere filled with warmth and laughter.

As the opening credits roll, you can't help but feel a sense of comfort and safety in this moment, surrounded by friends who care about you. The past few days had been challenging, but right now, everything feels just right.

As the movie plays on, the tension and suspense from the film slowly fade into a comforting hum in the background. You snuggle deeper into the couch, feeling the warmth radiating from Vasco beside you. His shoulder is surprisingly comfortable, and the steady sound of his breathing lulls you into a peaceful sleep.

The group remains absorbed in the movie, glancing occasionally at you as they notice your head leaning against Vasco. Mira shoots a knowing smile at Vasco, who seems both amused and a bit flustered by your unexpected nap.

"Looks like she's out cold," daniel whispers, trying not to disrupt the moment.

"Should we wake her?" Zoe asks, glancing at the clock and realizing it's getting late.

"Nah, let her sleep," Vasco responds softly, looking down at you with a gentle smile. "She's had a rough few days."

Mira nods in agreement. "We can finish the movie without her. We'll keep it down."

The others share a few quiet chuckles and continue watching, occasionally sneaking glances at you. Vasco feels a sense of protectiveness wash over him, and he shifts slightly, ensuring you're comfortable without waking you.

As the movie reaches a particularly scary part, a loud jump scare echoes through the room, causing everyone to gasp. You stir slightly but don't wake up, only adjusting your position to snuggle closer against Vasco. He chuckles softly, amused at how oblivious you are to the horror unfolding on screen.

Time passes, and as the credits roll, Vasco gently nudges you. "Hey, wake up," he says softly, not wanting to startle you. "The movie's over."

You blink awake, groggy and slightly confused as you sit up and look around at your friends. "What?" you mumble, rubbing your eyes.

"You fell asleep halfway through," Vasco explains, a teasing grin on his face. "Missed the best parts!"

"Seriously?" You laugh, a bit embarrassed, but also grateful for the rest. "I guess I was more tired than I thought."

Mira stands up, stretching her arms. "We should probably get you something to eat. You can't sleep through a movie and then skip dinner"

The others nod in agreement, and the group heads to the kitchen, still buzzing from the movie. Vasco walks alongside you, and you catch him smiling at you. "You looked peaceful," he says, his voice warm. "I didn't want to wake you."

"Thanks for letting me sleep," you reply, feeling a rush of warmth on your cheeks. "I really needed it."

As you all gather in the kitchen, the mood shifts to one of camaraderie and laughter, you're surrounded by friends who care about you, and for the first time in a while, you feel a sense of normalcy returning to your life.
