Friday came by quickly as Y/n looked out the window, Regie and her were going to record a song on the same day but Y/n had to go to work. So, they rescheduled it for Friday, which was today. She sighed as she stood up and grabbed her camera and then her guitar as well while sitting down she thought of a song to cover on her singing channel. She smiled as she placed her guitar back on the rack and headed towards the keyboard then she began playing 'Lovely' by Billie and Khalid.
"I thought that I found a way.." She started playing on her piano "Thought I found a way out" Y/n sang "But you never go away.."
"Welcome home...." Y/n finished the note as she looked at the camera while reaching out to turn it off.
Y/n smiled as she placed her camera back on the rack and she looked at the mirror while she sighed. Y/n brushed her hair and tied it to a ponytail as she grabbed her phone and her bag while she waited for Regie. She walked towards the front of the building as a white Volkswagen appeared in front of her then she raised her eyebrow as they rolled their window "Hey, munchkin" Oliver spoke as Y/n hopped in his car "Long time no see Oli" Oliver laughed as he drove off "Sorry I've been busy lately" She nodded "You could've texted y'know?" He sighed "I know, sorry..." He uttered quietly, it's been a while since they'd last talked especially since that supposed kiss "Y/n, we should really talk about what happened last time we saw each other" Oliver said while looking at her "I think we should but nothing happened.... But go ahead"
"I know it didn't.. I want to talk about it, want to grab some lunch after this recording session?" Y/n smiled a bit and nodded "Why didn't Reggie pick me up?" Oliver chuckles "Well, I kind of... volunteer to go since I heard your name" She giggled and smiled "Dummy" Oliver faked being offended "How rude.. but at least I'm your dummy" Y/n looked at him as she blushed lightly and looked at the window. They arrived at the studio as they greeted the members and the staff while Y/n smiled, she didn't that a certain someone was looking at her. Y/n sat next to Darren and placed her head on his shoulder as she whispered to him "How do you deal with them?" Darren looked at her with an eyebrow raised "What do you mean, N/n?" He whispered back.
"You tell me, that's why I'm asking you Dar-dar" Y/n sighed and looked at him "Besides what are you doing here?" He chuckled "You think I'll miss watching my best friend singing for the first time even though she never told me that she had a YouTube channel dedicated to that" He glared as Y/n chuckled nervously "Oops. My bad" She said as she watched Reggie getting comfortable on her lap "May I help you, Mr. Macalino?" She was irked "Yeah, some blankets and we gotta decide what to sing so we can record it, so the guys are going first before we are" Y/n nodded as she smiled "I have an idea" She pulled Reggie off her lap and got him inside the recording session "Do you know the song Die with a Smile?" He nodded.

Y/n waited for Reggie to finish his part and she started her verse of the song. She started singing as she watched the reaction of the members of NSB and smiled then kept singing.

Y/n and Reggie started singing together and it sounded like a perfect melody of the two voices combined as Y/n looked at Reggie and smiled brightly. She looked back at the people in front of her, vibing the song they were singing.

"Y'all sounded so good!" Kane shouted as Y/n smiled and nodded "Thanks Kane" Kane nodded as Y/n moved her gaze towards Oliver smirking and annoyed. She placed the headphones on the rack "Hey, N/n? Wanna come eat lunch with me?" Reggie asked with his puppy eyes "Sorry Reggie.. Oli asked me before coming over here, maybe next time?" Reggie looked sad but nodded as Y/n walked out of the booth and went to the bathroom.
Outside, Oliver was waiting for Y/n as Reggie walked out and saw him there standing.
"Care to explain what are you doing?"
