"Iff that's really what you think of me then I should probably leave you to your thoughts alone." He snapped backing away from her and stormed out of her chambers leaving her all alone. Meya sunk down on her bed with her head in her hands exhausted.

She feared that iff she fell for Aegon. He would only use her feelings against her and have her affection for him taking for granted. Iff she really was going to make this marriage work. She had to know iff he was ready to leave his lifestyle behind for her. With his drinking, with his visits to the street of silk. That kind of lifestyle. But that would mostly be impossible.

"You look quite tired" Helaena commented as the two girls walked arm in arm around the castle gardens. "I'm fine" Meya responded back with her eyes glued up to the giant grey clouds in the sky. Her eyes had two big dark circles under them. She did have trouble sleeping, but she didn't wanna concern Helaena about that.
"Any thougts of the marriage between you and Aegon?" Helaena asked her childhood bestfriend.

" I rather be flying on dragon back across the narrow sea and only eat cake then be married to him" Meya said with disgust and hurried away from the gardens leaving Helaena alone.

Meya ran through the halls, hands covering her mouth trying to shallow her sobs as she ran. She didn't know where but anywhere then the red keep was something she would prefer at the moment. But that would be nearly impossible.

Seconds later she found herself in the throne room with eyes on the iron throne. Her legacy. Her faith she must follow, or did she really want that? She didn't know for sure.

"I knew I would  somehow find you here" a voice said from behind. It was Aemonds voice.

Meya huffed as she turned to meet his gaze. His eyes priced into hers. Not looking away from her as she walked up to him. "And yet I knew people would come find me even iff I never wish for it" she commented as she tried to walk past him but was unable to cause Aemond gripped her arm pulling back into place infront of him.

"You don't mean that" he said with a stern voice.
Meya only rolled her eyes in response as she yet again walked past him. Before she left the giant hall she turned to him one last time.

"I meant every word."
