Fujitora might be quite OOC because he was honestly quite hard to write for.

Sorry this took a while. I wrote this and then re-wrote this a few times, so I hope you like this because boy, was this a journey

You hummed lightly as you skipped along the dirt trail. The slightly butchered rendition of binks sake, reaching the ears of the man that walked behind you. His wooden cane met with the ground, creating a small noise as it did so, signifying that he continued to follow your person as you made your way through the woods.

"Hmm, you are certainly cheerful today, Commander? What has perhaps brought about this mood?"
The purple clad man questioned.
"You know it is because we have finally got some time off Fuji. I know you won't admit it, but it is nice to finally have a break. Especially away from those damn casinos. You know they love trying to take advantage of you due to your eyes. Hmmph, it makes me sick. I don't understand why you like going to them so much. "
You heard him chuckle faintly as you walked in the comfortable silence that followed, mumbling to yourself in agitation. Your hands moved around in the air sporadically as you got lost in your irritated ramblings.

"You'd think they would have more care for the blind those stingy bastards. They always take advantage of people as much as they can. Ooo, if I could burn down those damn establishments I would, but that would get me on the wrong end of the stick with the higher-ups. No way, I would want to deal with the damn Red Dog. One admiral is enough."

As you kept on grumbling to yourself, you failed to notice the quite evident and very obvious tree that stood in front of you. Continuing on in your now somewhat hasty pace, you almost face planted into the hard bark of said tree. Thankfully, you didn't due to the wooden cane that pushed against your person stopping you from making contact with the tree.

"For a Navy Commander, I thought you would be much more observant of your surroundings. Let's hope you haven't been losing sight of any pirate ships as of late."

Red bloomed across your face as you felt yourself heat up in embarrassment.
"HEY, I'll have you know I captured two dozen pirate ships just this week. Mr Admrial." You said, with a sarcastic infliction at the end, lightly poking at the man's arm.
"Hmmmm,"
"Don't Hmmmm me Fujitora, I am one of the best Navy Commanders, and you know it. I was just lost in thought.... Thank you for the assistance anyway." You spoke as you moved away from him slightly, glancing upwards to see the light smile that graced his face. Carrying on your walk forwards, the red on your face died down, but the butterflies of embarrassment still tingled in your stomach.

A few more minutes into the walk, the dirt trail beneath you began to become increasingly prominent and worn over, signs of more continued use by man. The smell of freshly baked goods slowly entered your nose. Trails of smoke could be seen rising into the air, signifying your closeness to the town at the centre of the island.

"Ahh, you smell that Fuji, fresh bread. I finally won't have to eat that awful stale bread anymore. You would think that with the Navy's budget, they could supply us with decent bread half the time that doesn't go off in 2 days." You groaned as you gripped onto his sleeves, slightly shaking him.
"You'd think they would give one of their best commander's better treatment." He softly laughed in response.
"Ohh, stop it, you, just because they give you special treatment for being a big shot admrial doesn't mean they can give me bread that goes off in two days." You snickered in response, gently hitting his arm.
"Now come on, I have been walking forever, and I need some food that won't make me want to die for once."
