Sports Festival Part 1
-Time skip to day of Sports Festival-
Class 1A is in the waiting room, conversing and preparing before we go out there. When suddenly Shoto gets up and walks over to Izuku.
"Midoriya." Izuku turns around to face him.
"Uh yea Todoroki?"
"From an objective standpoint, I think it's fairly clear that I'm stronger than you. However, you have Allmight in your corner helping you out, but just know that I will beat you."
"What's with all the declarations of war lately?" Denki butts in.
"We're not here to be each other's friends, don't forget this isn't a team effort." Shoto says as he walks away.
"Wait a sec Todoroki, I don't know why you're telling me that you're going to beat me. I mean yea, you are stronger than me and probably have the most potential of anyone in the hero course. But everyone is striving to do their best today, so I'll be aiming for the top too!" At that Shoto walks away and leaves the room. I quickly follow him out and grab his wrist.
"Sho, what was all that? I thought we were friends."
"I- we are." He scratches his head.
"Then why would you say that you're not here to make them, that doesn't make sense."
"Well when I first got here that was the plan, but I just somehow made an exception for you." He looks away from me, a faint blush spreading over his face.
"So you're saying I'm special?" I tease with a smile.
"S-sure whatever."
-Time skip-
Present mic announces the entry of class 1A and the other remaining course class students as we all enter the arena. We all group together in front of the stage where Midnight is standing. Everyone commenting on what she's wearing. It's honestly none of their business what she's wearing. We are here to do our best for the festival, not comment on people's outfits.
"Our student pledge is Katsuki Bakugo!" Bakugo makes his way up the stage. Class 1A is clearly worried about what he's gonna say. Bakugo gets to the stage and speaks up.
"I just wanna say, I'm gonna win." Everyone starts booing him and he makes his way back to the group.
"Alright our first game will be an obstacle race!" Midnight goes on explaining the rules and we all make our way to the starting point. Everyone is in a small space bunched up together, seems like this is our first obstacle. Testing to see how we will get through. I quickly jump up into the air and flap my wings, flying out of the doorway. I see Shoto froze the ground to hold back other people so he can take the lead. I quickly catch up to him and I'm flying by his side.
(Side note: Ik this part was rushed it's just I think it's pointless to go into explicit detail of this part ⬆️)
"Smart thinking Sho."
"Yea, but I'm surprised how many people dodged that attack. Especially people from other classes."
We keep going until we notice these huge robots.
"What the hell are these things?" I ask.
"Must be what the other students faced in the entrance exams. I just wish they would have prepared something more difficult, especially since my dear old dad is watching." He says before freezing the giant robot. That was kinda hot..FOCUS Y/N FOCUS! While the robot is frozen we quickly go through and keep moving forward. A giant robot comes up behind me, I quickly fly into the air and burn the robot down with my fire and make my way back to Shoto.
"Well would ya look at that! Class 1A's Shoto Todoroki and Y/n Takami are in the lead!"
Shoto and I approach 'The Fall' he quickly uses his ice to skate through. I fly up over the ropes to get across quickly, burning some of the ropes with my fire to set other people back. We begin to approach the minefield, still in the lead. Shoto starts avoiding the mines and I just easily fly above them. Bakugo has now caught up to us and starts fighting with Shoto. How immature. More and more students have caught up as well. All of a sudden we hear a big explosion go off behind us and look up to see Izuku flying over us and he takes the lead. Hm, pretty smart. Shoto and Bakugo forget about their little fight and quickly try to catch up with Izuku. The 4 of us battling for first place. We clear the minefield and now it's just up to who can make it across the finish line first. I could win if I use my top speed to fly through but I don't exactly want to wear myself out on just the first game. I decide to just pick up my speed a little bit so I don't waste too much energy. The four of us are now neck and neck.
"The first to make it back into the stadium, our champion is....IZUKU MIDORIYA!!!"
Izuku came out 1st, me 2nd, Shoto 3rd and Bakugo 4th.
(I'm going to skip the Cavalry battle bc ion rlly have a plan for it and I just find that part a lil boring tbh. For the 1v1 battles I won't go into too much detail abt other ppls battles, also Y/n will replace Shiozaki and battle Kaminari.)
Everyone is now taking a break before the 1v1 battles begin. I decide to fill Mina in on what's been going on with me and Shoto.
"YOU KISSED HIM TWICE?!?!"
"Shhhh!!! Yea but like not on the lips or anything."
"STILL GIRL! You should just confess to him at this point."
"I know but I'm scared, what if he doesn't feel the same and I ruin our friendship?"
"You won't know until you try, plus I'm sure he feels the same. If he doesn't then the worst that can happen is he says no and it's slightly awkward. I'm sure he won't stop being friends with you because of it."
"Yea I guess so." I see Shoto walk into the break room and I go over to him. Mina walks out to give us some privacy.
"Hey Sho, where you been?"
"Oh I was talking to Midoriya."
"What about?"
"About my past, I also wanted to ask him something. I asked if he was Allmights secret love child because they seem close and have similar quirks."
"Pffft. You actually said that?!?!" I started laughing really hard.
"...yea" He looks embarrassed that I'm laughing at him.
"I'm sorry Sho, but that is just way too funny. God you're so cute." Why did I say that?! I really need to shut my mouth. Great now we are just both blushing and staring at each other.
"Well let's go, battles should be starting soon." I decide to switch topics.
"Uh yea, okay." We walk out the break room and find all the class 1A girls wearing cheerleading uniforms.
"Umm what's going on here?"
