-Later that day-
Shoto and I are now sitting down in a little restaurant. We ordered soba and some drinks while we talk.
"So..."
"A-abt the kiss..Y/n I-" I cut him off.
"It's ok if you didn't like it Sho, I might've made things weird and I'm sorry. But I still want us to be friends and hope I didn't ruin things between us."
"No. I was gonna say that I...liked it actually. If I'm being honest...I've liked you for a while now." I was shocked to say the least.
"R-really?"
"Yea, probably ever since that day we first got paired together for hero training."
"I really like you too Sho. I remember when I first saw you..I thought you were the most beautiful person I have ever seen." I say nervously. Aww he's blushing.
"I could say the same about you." Great now I'm the one blushing.
"So...what now?"
"...I'm not sure. I'm not really used to this kind of thing."
"Me neither." We both look at each other awkwardly.
"Do we like..start dating or something? I mean we like each other and all, I'm not completely sure."
"...I mean do you want to? I wouldn't mind giving the dating thing a try, especially if it's with you."
"Yea, me too." I smile.
"So I guess you're my girlfriend now right? That sounds good to say."
"Yea, guess that makes you my boyfriend huh?" We continue eating our food and when we get ready to pay the bill Shoto pulls out a black card.
"Is that a black card?"
"Yea it's my dads. I took it from him." He says casually.
"Won't he be mad that you took it?"
"Eh, I'm sure he won't mind too much. Plus he kinda owes me for being a terrible father figure." He jokes.
He pays the bill and we start walking back home."Hey, I forgot to ask but..what happened when you went to go talk with your brother? If you don't mind me asking."
"It's fine. Well I told him about the memories I keep getting and asked why he never told me. He said that he thought I was better off not knowing these things, that I was safer now and shouldn't have to worry about it ever again."
"Makes sense. I'm really sorry about all that though, to be honest I'm not really sure what to say right now. But what I do know is that I'm here if you ever want to talk and when I get even stronger I'm here to protect you, not that you need it since your strong enough on your own."
"Thanks Sho, I'll do the same."
-The next day-
Everyone is talking about how much recognition we have gotten after the sports festival. When Mr. Aizawa walks in he goes on to discuss what we will be doing in class today.
"We have a big class today on hero informatics. You need code names, it's time to pick your hero identities." Everyone begins to get all excited.
"This is related to the hero draft picks I mentioned before. This is the list of those of you who got offers."
Shoto had 4,123 offers, I had 3,892, Bakugo with 3,556, Tokoyami with 360, and so on."In past years it's been more spread out, it's a pretty big gap this time. Despite these results, you will be interning with pros. Got it?"
"These hero names will likely be temporary, but take them seriously or-"
