A week had passed since Selene returned to school, and she'd slowly started to grow closer to Rukia. It had been a strange week filled with new experiences and an unexpected friendship, but Selene had to admit-she was enjoying it.

After school, the two girls would often hang out together, showing Rukia the human world in ways she never expected.

On the first day of their new routine, Selene took Rukia to her favorite plush shop. It was a small, quirky store, stuffed to the brim with all sorts of plush animals-penguins, bears, rabbits, even obscure sea creatures. Selene had always been drawn to the soft, cuddly things in life. She never had anyone who see to share her excitement even if Rukia denied it. Selene totally saw her eyeing the rabbit plushie. It felt weirdly natural with Rukia.

"Just look at this one, Rukia!" Selene had gushed, holding up a little penguin plush that she'd been eyeing for a while. "It's the best one! I swear, it's like... like it's a piece of art."

Rukia raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure? It looks... just like any other penguin plush."

"NO!" Selene's eyes were wide with passion as she clutched the plush to her chest. "This one is different. I can feel it."

Rukia chuckled, but she couldn't resist. Selene's enthusiasm was contagious. She turned to Ichigo, who had been reluctantly tagging along.

"Fine, fine," Ichigo grumbled, rolling his eyes. "But only because you're so insistent about it." He pulled out his wallet with an exaggerated sigh. "You better not drag me into more of these ridiculous places."

Selene shot him a grin. "Deal!" She hugged the penguin tighter and beamed.

Later that week, the trio visited the arcade. Selene had been a regular at the Street Fighter machines, but this time, it was all about introducing Rukia to the madness.

"Ready to lose, Rukia?" Selene grinned as she slid a coin into the machine.

Rukia raised an eyebrow. "Is that supposed to be a challenge?"

"I hope you're ready for the thrashing of your life!" Selene laughed as she selected her character.

Rukia, ever the competitor, smirked and matched her speed, both of them fiercely playing for what seemed like hours. Ichigo, as usual, was watching from the sidelines, a little skeptical about the entire thing.

"I can't believe I'm spending my afternoon here..." he muttered under his breath. But even he couldn't help but get pulled into the atmosphere as the game's energy picked up.

By the end of the week, Selene had pulled Rukia into a shopping spree-something that was, of course, absolutely necessary. Ichigo, on the other hand, was not thrilled. The disheveled mess of clothes that Selene picked out for herself somehow resulted in Ichigo getting a few things as well, much to his annoyance.
