A week has passed since Selene returned to school. She has grown closer to Rukia, showing her favorite spots after school.

They visited her plush shop, where Selene persuaded Ichigo to buy her penguin plushy, and the arcade, where she introduced Rukia to Street Fighter.

They also went on a shopping spree, much to Ichigo's dismay, but at least he got clothes out of it.

Though the week wasn't just filled with fun activities. Hollows appeared throughout the week and Ichigo had to handle them. Selene did sometimes go on mission with them, but Ichigo rather her not be near danger.

However, one day, Ichigo, Rukia, and a few others were called to the office. Selene didn't wanna be left out so she snuck out the class to follow the group.

"Don't y'all see what harm you've caused? Do you have any idea how ridiculous this show was and that it was broadcast on national television a week ago?! Well, look at this, guys!" The gym teacher shouts at them. He plays a video on a big screen that was tucked away somewhere.

Selene burst out laughing when the clip played of Ichigo and Rukia being tackled by security. She couldn't fathom why the others were dragged into it, too, over something so trivial.

With Rukia's superb acting skills, they weren't there for long. The boys slipped out of the window while Selene clambered onto Chad's back, and they took off, enjoying the thrill of it all.

The gym teacher spotted them, but it was too late as they had sped off. Selene still clung to Chad's curly locks, giddy with excitement. They regrouped and made their way back to class, with Selene still sitting on Chad's back, relishing the moment.

"Way to go, Rukia. Your awesome performance got us off scot-free with no detention." Keigo praised the girl, to which Selene nodded in agreement.

"Wonderful work, Rukia," Selene added, giving her a thumbs-up.

"Oh, you guys, it was nothing," Rukia replied, pretending to be shy, which made Selene smile.

Ichigo scowled at her. "What are you guys talking about? She was trying to sell me out the river," he said incredulously.

"Ichi, you need to realize that it's one sacrifice for all," Selene said, leaning in to ruffle Ichigo's hair. He grunted, but just let her do as she please. If he dodged her touch she would take it as an immediate challenge and would try harder.

Rukia's phone started ringing, and the trio knew what that meant. Ichigo shot Selene a look, basically telling her not to come along. She sighed and nodded. She didn't feel like dealing with hollows today anyway.

"Oh Ichigo, Selene May I talk to you for a second in private m?" Rukia asks giving them a closed eye smile. Selene just shrugs. She guess she'll watch over the body while Ichigo play hero.

"Sure" Selene hops off Chad's back.

"Would you guys excuse us for just a minute" she gives them a curtesy bow and the trio runs off. They stopped at a nearby park so Ichigo could transform. He placed his body on the bench.

"We'll be back" Ichigo shouts as him and Rukia runs in the direction of where the hollow was.

"Be Safe!" She waves at them as she watch their figures get smaller and smaller with distance. She sits on the bench and moves Ichigo's soulless body a bit so his head was resting on her lap.

She looks down at his peaceful face. It didn't have that permanent scowl on it. It was honestly still surreal knowing what she knows.

"You better come back to me safely or else I'll throw your body in the river" she pokes Ichigo's forehead and he didn't react in the slightest like she expected. She runs her fingers through his hair as she waits on their return.

"Oh~ test scores came out today" Selene skips over to the board with Ichigo and Chad following behind her. She was ranked second which was pretty good since she was absent for a month, but she didn't get behind because of her aunt. Her aunt brought home schoolwork missed every week she missed so she was still caught up.

"Hmm? You're not first Selene? Who is?" Ichigo was use to seeing Selene in first place, but it was someone else. "Ametasu Ishida..I don't even know the guy."

Selene just sighs. This was just like Ichigo "That's Uryu and he's in our class Ichi" she pokes Ichigo's cheek to annoy him. "Though it would be more shocking if you did know him." She tease him slightly.

"It's not my fault that I don't remember someone who I don't even talk to" Ichigo frowns and cross his arms. He look like he was trying to think of how Uryu look. Selene shrugs. He did have a point.

"I mean you're right. Oh is Rukia still trying to get in contact with the hat and clogs guy?" Selene asks. She had no clue who hat and clogs was, but Rukia's phone seems to be giving them false signals.

"Not sure" Ichigo answers and steps aside when Keigo tries to pounce on him. "Ichigo, let's go to a karaoke bar. There's gonna be-" he didn't get to finish as Rukia snatches Ichigo away. Selene automatically assume that it was a Hollow.

"Chad, do you want to go to the arcade after school?" Selene queries, completely ignoring the fact that Ichigo just got taken away. Chad responds with a soft grunt, which Selene takes as a yes.

Mizurio approaches Selene, asking softly, "Selene, are you really okay with that?" He's referring to Ichigo's disappearance, but Selene isn't sure what he means.

Keigo, in his typical dramatic fashion, chimes in, "Selene, you're blind to the fact that Rukia is taking your man." He launches into a spiel about romantic entanglements and how they're in a love triangle over Ichigo, who shouldn't have people fighting over him.

Half-listening to Keigo, Selene cuts him off with a clap, proclaiming, "Keigo, quit it! Nothing is going on between Rukia and Ichigo! Me and Ichigo will always be best friends, like me and Chad. Is that crystal clear?" Keigo nods, knowing that there's no point in arguing further. Plus the smile she had on was a bit sinister. Selene smiles grows warm and encourages everyone to move on to class. After all, they only have one more class to go before being free!
