1.| She's back

Selene was happily skipping to her class with her bag in hand. Her box braids that reach mid thigh were swaying with each step. If she hadn't taken the medicine she'd probably have a flowers covering her entire body.

She was as happy as a bee in the spring time. She was humming gleefully. "It feels so nice to be a free woman and it's lunchtime so no learning now" she cheers to herself and makes it to the classroom.

She scans the class for her favorite orange head and lovable giant. Not too hard to spot, right? She spotted them standing by the window looking ready to go to eat their lunch. "ICHI, CHAD IM BACK" she runs up to the duo and leaps towards Ichigo. She wraps her arms around his neck with a large smile.

"S-Selene? I thought you were sick?!" Ichigo asks shocked to see the joy filled girl. He holds her by the waist to keep her steady. Selene's grin widen by ten folds.

"I got better see? See? I can run and jump and skip! I'm totally better and Chad, my lovable giant" Selene jump from Ichigo's arm to Chad who just stands there. After 10 seconds, he pats her head softly.

"It is good to see you too" he replied in his usual deep voice. It brought a smile to her face to physically see them.

"Selene! How can you be so mean?! Can't I get a hug, a wave, a greeting at least?!" Keigo asks with comical tears running down his cheeks. Selene doesn't even notice as she rubs her head in Chad's chest. Chad was like a big brother to Selene. Always protecting her from hooligans and all that.

"And she ignores me!" Keigo falls to the ground with a helpless cry. After getting her hug meter to its highest she lets go of Chad. She finally notices Keigo in his pathetic state.

"Oh hey Keigo, when you get here?" Selene said rather nonchalantly. She looks down at him with a small smile. An invisible arrow struck right into Keigo's feelings.

"I've been here the entire time..." Keigo was utterly defeated as he cries helplessly on the ground.

"Oh..heh" she scratches her cheek a bit of an awkward but unapologetic way.

"heh?! Is that all you have to say?! Ichigo, did you hear that" Keigo was back on his feet pointing at Selene who looks absolutely unbothered. She was smiling at Keigo as if she did nothing wrong which she believes she didn't.

"Oh Keigo, you're here?" Ichigo said looking uninterested at Keigo. That attack left Keigo weak and retreating, forcing Mizuiro to come with him.

Selene watches the retreat with an amuse grin. "I forgot how rowdy it could be with Keigo" she chuckles a bit. She miss teasing Keigo. Her eyes wonder across to look at the remaining classmates in the room. It was a few, but she was familiar with them. Well all but one, it was a black haired girl staring intently at her.

She looks at the girl with curiosity. "Hey Ichi, who's the girl? Oh wait I don't know w-" she was cut off by Ichigo answering her question.

"Oh that's Rukia Kuchiki...what's with that look?" Ichigo scowls at Selene's genuinely surprised and somewhat amazed expression.

"Y-You finally remember people's name with their faces. You've been struggling with this issue since you were a child, I'm so proud of you" she said wiping the fake tears away from her eyes. "Maybe I should get sick more often, you'll probably fix that resting bitch face of yours."

"Don't make it sound that it's some serious problem" Ichigo shouts at Selene who only grins.

"But it is, I was so worried that the month I was absent you would forget my face then my name then me all together" Selene said dramatically. The back of her hand against her forehead as she leans on Chad to hold herself up.

"Please, I wouldn't be able to forget you even if I wanted to" that statement causes her to look at him a bit shocked. Her heart flutters a bit at his words. She didn't even resist the giddy smile that made its way to her face.

"Aww shucks Ichi, keep saying things like that you'll never be able to get rid of me" she pokes his rib with a teasing grin.

"Yeah, I doubt I can ever get rid of you. You're like a fly I can't get rid of" he said with a cheeky smirk. He pokes her forehead in retaliation. Selene gasp seemingly offended by his comparison.

"A Fly? How insulting Ichi! I'm more like a dandelion. Did you know dandelions are considered weeds, even though they are beneficial?" She said with a matter of fact look. She starts spouting out facts about dandelions. Ichigo knew when she started there was no stopping her.

She was so focused on spilling her random knowledge on dandelions, she didn't notice Ichigo gently guiding her to the rooftop to have lunch -with Chad following behind. He had his hand on the small of her back as he listens to her rant.

Both boys couldn't help but be glad that she was back.
