Rumours arise on the martial status of famous singer, songwriter and actress Manon Wright. Though some claim it might all be for a bit of extra clout and fame.
The blonde sensation has been seemingly linked to Sam Golbach, half of Sam and Colby - the infamous YouTube paranormal duo - and new arising singer himself. It began in October 2021 when she was featured in one of his videos with one of her friends, Gracie Abrams. Though, many have begun to wonder if the whole ordeal is just a play for publicity.
In late 2019, Wright split from her high school sweetheart, English actor Lukas Chase, after being caught in a cheating scandal. Not much is known on the topic but it must've meant a lot, since Wright then moved to LA in early 2020. People voiced concerns on the celebrity's decision but it was revealed when she released her debut album, Love is Fake, in mid 2020.
After a year of musical silence from Wright, she released an ep called enchanted, seemingly the most romantic songs of her career. Since then it's been single after single, including her newest - Heartbeat, released on the birthday of Golbach. Leading fans to believe that it was about him.
Both Wright and Golbach have been quiet about anything regarding their statuses, the former especially. But the fans of both sides have been going crazy, leading some to believe if the relationship is anything to begin with.
Fans on Twitter note the lack of time before these little moments caught by others began to pop up. One account mentions how it was 'them not knowing each other to suddenly being romantically involved', fans quickly agreeing. Though some are jumping to Wright's defence, claiming that the time between late 2021 to mid 2023 is a little over a year.
A reporter went up to Lukas Chase one night and asked him how he felt about the allegations. "I don't know much about it, but it seems a little quick. We were everything to each other and suddenly she's with some random within a lack of time. Something's up."
In a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Wright was seen saying things both during her interview and performance to someone backstage, rumoured to be Golbach himself. This would back up with pictures being taken of Golbach, Wright and the latter's sister Aurelie and the former's best friend Colby Brock a day later in NYC.
With all the new information, are we sure that Manon Wright is as innocent as perceived? We think that Lukas might be onto something now.
