Chapter 2:The start to recovery

Annie had been staying at the hospital for a little over a week since her ribs were very broken so was her ankle. She had to get surgery on her ankle which made her really scared but Tory and Sam were by her side until she went to the operation room. When she was on anestesia she still only talked about Devon who finally got to visit her the day after. The day Annie was able to go home Amanda had picked her up and she was a little skeptical but Tory had told her Amanda was not going to hurt her at all. During the car ride home Annie didn't say much other then the fact her medicine tasted horrible and it makes her feel super nauseous but the nurses told her that it was completely normal with that brand of medicine. After that she just went on her phone and looked at pictures of herself before she got jumped. "You look beautiful with your cuts and bruises. There's no need to compare yourself." Amanda said. Annie whispered a small thank you and she just went back to scrolling. Once they got to the Larussos house everyone from Miyagi do was there. Annie just crutched to her room downstairs and she slammed the door behind her. "What's up with your sister Tory she doesn't talk to anyone but Devon,she's just watches us practice all day,she doesn't even say anything to Robby who's your boyfriend. Maybe she isn't actually related to you and she's just saying that to get a free place to live and some food." Hawk said. "She's going through a lot right now and you guys talking shit about her isn't going to help." Tory said. "Yea man have you even actually sat down and talked to Annie. No you haven't you've only heard what the little conversation we've had. And why wouldn't she be related to Tory?" Robby said. "She doesn't even look like her." Hawk said. "We have the same dad not the same moms dipshit." Tory said. "Alright guys enough talking about Annie let's go out to the back and get ready for practice." Daniel said as he walked into the living room. Everyone but Tory went to the back to go practice. "You can stay with Annie if you want." Daniel said. Tory just smiled and then went to Annie's room. "Hey did you want to watch us practice?" Tory said. "No I'm just a freak according to Hawk I'm never going out there again. And what's the point I can't even fight anyways." Annie said. "Don't listen to Hawk he doesn't know what he's talking about you're just a little different than everyone else." Tory said. "Different I'm a weirdo compared to your friends. You don't have to hangout with me to look like a good sister I know you agree with them." Annie said. Annie just turned away from Tory when Devon walked in. "Hey Anns my mom said I could sleepover." Devon said. "That's cool Tory get out." Annie said. "Why?" Tory said. "Please" Annie said. Tory just got out and went to practice.

"Is Devon coming she's suppose to spar with you?" Johnny said. "She's inside with Annie they're catching up I guess." Tory said. "Well tell her and broken ribs to get out here." Johnny said. "Can't you do it?" Tory said. "Yea you're Devon's sensai and Annie just follows Devon where she goes." Hawk said. Johnny just went inside and told Devon to go practice. Annie was just sitting there until Robby and Miguel came into the room. "Can you two carry her out. I want to try something with her." Johnny said. "She's needs to rest shouldn't we just let her." Miguel said. "Just carry her out here." Johnny said. Miguel and Robby gave Annie her crutches and they slowly walked out behind her. "Umm one of you guys could just carry me out it would make it a lot easier." Annie said. Robby and Miguel looked at each other and then Robby just carried her out. When they got outside everyone looked at Annie who was still covered in bruises,cuts,and she had a cast on her ankle. "Why am I out here?" Annie said. "Wow I could actually hear you for once mousy." Hawk said. "What did you say?" Annie said. "Mousy speaks what a surprise." Hawk said as he got closer to Annie. Hawk was just close enough to Annie's face and he kept calling her mousy over and over until Annie punched him in the face. "Damn" A few of the kids said. While the others just looked surprised. "Don't call me mousy again or else." Annie said. "Or else what?" Hawk said as he wiped his nose since it started bleeding. "Or else I go to your house in the middle of the night and cut off all your hair while your sleeping and your little girlfriend wouldn't like that would she." Annie said. "You wouldn't cut my hair you can barely walk." Hawk said. "Who said I was going to cut it off today." Annie said. Hawk just backed away from Annie as she smiled at him and then went on her phone. "Annie that shit really hurt is your hand made out of stone?" Hawk said. "No you're just a being a baby." Annie said. "Alright enough Johnny why is she out here in the first place?" Daniel said. "I want her to fight in our next match." Johnny said. "What. How she has a broken ankle and two broken ribs how the hell is she going to fight?" Daniel said. "Once she's healed up and starts practicing for real I think she could be a stronger fighter than Tory." Johnny said. "So in two months she would start to train for a match against her sister?" Daniel said. "No she would start from the bottom she would fight Anthony,Devon,Kenny,and then move up to the older kids." Johnny said. "Let me stop you right here I've beaten Anthony in a fight before so I could just skip him and fight Devon. But what if I don't want to fight?" Annie said. "Well your Tory Nichols sister you got be a fighter it's in your blood." Johnny said. "Johnny you sound ridiculous right now she's not going to be able to fight in the next three months so maybe we should wait." Daniel said. "Well you don't even know when we're going to be fighting Cobra Kai again so we have time to get prepared and get her prepared. Just trust me." Johnny said. "Fine" Daniel said as he went inside. "Annie you need to come take your medicine." Amanda said as she came outside. "Can you bring it over here please." Annie said. Amanda brought Annie her medicine and she saw the blood on Hawks shirt. "What happened to Hawk?" Amanda said. "Annie punched him it was so cool." Devon said. "Annalise you can't punch people for no reason." Amanda said. Annie took her medicine and then just didn't say anything. "Here we go again with mousy not talking." Hawk said. "I said don't call me mousy you asshole." Annie said. "Make me" Hawk said. Annie took a rock she found on the ground and she threw it at Hawk. The rock hit Hawk in his back and he fell to the ground. Everyone looked at Annie then at Hawk who was pretty close to get beat up by Robby. "Everyone go home for the night we can practice more tomorrow." Daniel said. "Everyone except Devon and the people who live here." Amanda said. Annie went back inside with Devon and they both just sat in Annie's room. Devon and Annie were just talking when they overheard everyone else talking about Annie's anger problems. "Anns it's ok once your all healed up your anger will go away for sure." Devon said. "I hope so." Annie whispered.
