Chapter 5:Tory's really hurt

Annie had rode with Tory in the ambulance and she held her hand the entire way there. When they arrived at the hospital Tory was in a medically induced coma the doctors did it so her body could have time to rest. Annie stayed the night with Tory and she was telling her how much she loved,cherished,and cared for her. When the next day rolled around Devon had stopped by to bring Annie her schoolwork and just to see if Tory was doing better. "Anns if you need any help let me know." Devon said. "I don't need help with my work I skipped eighth grade for a reason." Annie said. "Are you mad at me or something because ever since Anthony and I started talking more you seem kinda off are you ok?" Devon asked. "I'm fine" Annie said. "Are you sure it's ok to not be ok you know." Devon said. "I'm perfectly fine now leave me alone." Annie said. "Annie I didn't mean to upset you I just wanted to know if you were ok?" Devon said. "I'm not ok is that what you want to hear? How I'm not perfectly fine and how ever since I started living with Tory my life has sucked but I can't tell her that because she's the only real family I have left." Annie said. Devon just hugged Annie which made Annie immediately break down into her arms. Devon was just rubbing Annie's back when they heard a beep from the machines in the room. "Why is it beeping?" Devon said. "I I don't know I'll call the doctor." Annie said. Annie pressed the call button and looked at Tory. "Please don't die on me Tory." Annie said. The doctor came in and they told Annie and Devon to leave the room. "What's happening?" Annie asked. "Your sister is just chocking on the ventilator tube which means she's starting to breathe on her own." A nurse said. "So she's awake?" Annie asked. "Not yet but she is making improvements I would go home for the day and come back tomorrow." The nurse said. Annie grabbed her stuff and so did Devon then they both left. "Do you think Mrs Larusso could pick us up?" Devon said. "Yea I'll call her." Annie said. Annie called Amanda so she could pick her and Devon up from the hospital. When Amanda arrived she just didn't say anything and the car ride was pretty silent. Once they got back to the Larussos house Annie went inside and just sat in her room. Devon just to talk with Anthony. "So Torys still in her coma?" Daniel said. "Yea but she just got her ventilator removed." Amanda said. "That's good I'll go down and visit here in a few minutes the doctors said I could go and talk to her." Daniel said. "Ok I'll stay here with Annie and Devon." Amanda said. Annie came downstairs and she went outside to the backyard. "Anns wait for me." Devine said as she followed Annie. Amanda and Daniel peaked outside and saw Annie and Devon arguing. "Hey Mousey." Hawk said. "Will you stop calling me that." Annie said. "Hey I know your sister got her ass beat and all but that doesn't mean you have to be such a" Hawk said but was cutoff by Annie punching him. Hawk punched her back which started a huge fight between them both. "Annie stop" Devon said. Robby had pulled Annie off of Hawk and Miguel was holding back Hawk. "What is with you two and fighting." Robby said. Annie didn't say anything but Hawk couldn't shut up about how Annie is rudest thirteen year old he's ever met. Robby just let Annie go and she ran. "Annie" Robby said.

Annie was running to the one place no one could find her. "Devon where did she go?" Robby said. "I don't know I swear." Devon said. "You do know you're her best friend you know everything about her." Robby said. "Well I'm not telling you." Devon said. "Where's Annie?" Amanda said as she walked outside. Devon just started to walk away when she felt Amanda grab her shoulder. "Devon I need you to tell me where Annie went." Amanda said. "Devon if you won't tell me then go either with Sam and find Annie." Amanda said. Devon and Sam went to go find Annie while Amanda went down to the hospital. "Devon where did she go?" Sam said as she stopped her car. "To the cemetery." Devon said. "Why is she never mind I'll ask her when we find her." Sam said. Sam started her car and drove to the cemetery. When they pulled up they saw Annie sitting outside the gate crying. "Annie you're ok you scared the hell out of everybody." Sam said as she went over by Annie. "Anns are you ok?" Devon said. "My mom and Tory's mom are never coming back." Annie cried. Devon went by Annie and gave her a hug. "I just wish Tory's mom was here so she could be by her side." Annie cried. "She's in a better place now but I know she's looking down at Tory and hoping that she makes it." Devon said. Annie just kept crying until Sam came over. "We need to go to the hospital my mom told me it's an emergency." Sam said. Annie and Devon got up and got into Sam's car. Sam drove to the hospital and they all rushed inside. "Sam" Amanda said. "What's the emergency?" Sam said. Amanda grabbed Annie and took her into Tory's room. "Annie" Tory whispered. "It's ok I'm right here." Annie said. Annie moved Tory's hair out of her face and then she poured her a cup of water. "I heard everything you said. And I think you should really start learning how to fight." Tory said. "Really that's amazing but I want to fight with you." Annie said. "I know but right now the team needs another strong fighter while I'm recovering. Annalise I know you can do it I saw you take down some of Cobra Kai's fighters you're gonna do fine." Tory said. "You'll watch the tournament right?" Annie said. "Of course I'll watch it. Can I have the water you poured like five minutes ago." Tory said. "Sorry here." Annie said as she held the cup for Tory. "I know you broke your ribs but are they suppose to hurt this bad?" Tory said. "Yea give it a few days and you only broke one rib I broke two you'll be alright." Annie said. "But it hurts." Tory whined. "You were in a coma for a day and a half of course it's gonna hurt." Annie said. "This bad?" Tory said. "Yes Victoria that fucking bad." Annie yelled. "Annalise out now" Amanda said as she watched Annie start to get upset. "Make me" Annie said. Amanda grabbed Annie by her arm and pulled her into the hallway. "You need to control your anger before you hurt someone." Amanda said. "I don't have to listen to you. You aren't my mother so stop acting like it." Annie said. Amanda let go of Annie's arm and watched as Annie ran out of the hospital. "So who's going after her this time?" Sam said. "You and Devon. We gotta stay with Tory." Amanda said. Sam and Devon went to go find Annie while Amanda and Daniel stayed with Tory.
