Chapter 3:The nightmares

"Help" Annie screamed. Tory came running into her room and saw her tossing and turning. "Annie wake up you're having a nightmare again." Tory said as she shook Annie. Annie woke up and immediately hugged Tory. "It's ok it was just a dream Anns." Tory said as she rubbed her back. "It felt so real the kicking and the punching I felt it." Annie cried. "None of it was real Annie I promise you." Tory said. "I know but I keep having the same nightmare over and over. What if they come after you next I don't want you to get hurt." Annie said. "I'll be fine they wouldn't come after me unless Silver said he was going to." Tory said. "I don't remember I'm sorry." Annie said. Annie started crying again when Sam came in. "Did she have another nightmare?" Sam asked. "Yea and she thinks Silver is gonna come after me." Tory said. "Annie how about we stay in here until you fall asleep." Sam said. "Are you sure I don't want to bother you guys." Annie said. "Woah are we having a slumber party in here?" Anthony said as he walked into the room. "Maybe Annie's having nightmares again." Sam said. "That's sucks but I need to talk to Annie." Anthony said. "At 2:30 in the morning why?" Tory said. "Because I need to talk to her can you two wait outside." Anthony said. "Anthony when girls have sleepovers they tell everyone in the sleepover everything." Annie said. "I'm not telling them this." Anthony said. "Well then you can't join the slumber party then." Annie said. "Fine just close the door." Anthony said. Tory was sitting next to Annie on her bed while Sam was sitting next to Anthony on the floor. "I kinda have a crush on Devon." Anthony said. "You kinda have a crush or you do have a crush on Devon?" Annie said. "I have a crush on Devon but don't tell her I want to start talking to her and making her feel the same way." Anthony said. "So you're gonna become friends with her and then confess that you have a crush on her." Sam said. "Yea" Anthony said. "Or you can just ask her to homecoming." Annie said. "Ask her to homecoming why would I do that?" Anthony said. "Are you stupid. If you have a crush on her you make her sign,get her favorite flowers,and ask her at practice if she says yes your getting somewhere if she says no then she doesn't like you." Annie said. "Wait that's a good idea thanks Annie." Anthony said. Anthony walked out and went back to his room while Tory started to fall asleep on Annie. Annie gently moved so Tory's body could fall onto her pillow and then she heard snoring coming from the ground. Annie ended up giving Sam one of her extra pillows and blankets and just fell back asleep lying on Tory's arm.

The next day rolls around and none of the girls have woken up yet. "Tory Sam come on you two are gonna be late for practice." Amanda said as she opened Annie's room door. "Mom do we have to go today I don't feel good." Sam said. "Let me see" Amanda said. Amanda went to look at Sam when she heard Tory coming back into the room wrapped up in a blanket. "Tory are you sick too?" Amanda asked. "Yea I just threw up buckets in the bathroom." Tory said. "Did this happen overnight because you two weren't feeling sick yesterday." Amanda said. "Well maybe Annie brought home a disease from physical therapy." Sam said. "I didn't mean too it's not my fault everyone in there had the stomach flu and the flu." Annie said. "Oh no" Sam said as she got up and ran to the bathroom. "Annie this is your fault I had an amazing date planned with my boyfriend and now I can't go thanks a lot." Tory said. "I'm sorry I need to go to physical therapy or else I won't be able to walk properly." Annie said. "Well did you have to bring home the stomach flu?" Tory said. Annie was about to say something when she saw Tory puking into the trash can next to her bed. "Why aren't you — woah you look horrible are you sick?" Robby said as he walked into Annie's room. "She's a little busy right now with the trash can maybe come back in a few days." Annie said. "Annie go sit in the living room your room is where we're keeping Sam and Tory while they're sick." Amanda said. Annie got up and hobbled to the living room. Miguel was in the living room when he saw Annie hobbling to the couch. "Annie let me help you." Miguel said. Miguel helped Annie over to the couch and then he gave her a pillow for her foot. "Miguel I don't need a pillow for my foot I need to practice these exercises." Annie said. "Do you want help?" Miguel asked. "No I just want to be alone." Annie said. "Alright I'll be outside if you need me." Miguel said. Annie just smiled and then buried her head into her knees. "Annie why are you crying? Did Silver come back I'll kick his ass." Johnny said. "No Mr Lawerence I've been having nightmares about him,I got my sister and Sam sick,and my physical therapy lessons aren't going good because I'm too scared to walk." Annie cried. "Well we need you walking so you can start fighting so I think we should try something." Johnny said. "If it's Hawk calling me mousey again he's gonna have a broken nose." Annie said. "No just come out to the back." Johnny said. Annie hobbled outside when she saw Devon waiting for her at the door. "Devon what you doing here?" Annie said. "Helping you walk." Devon said. "Alright kid you're gonna walk over to Anthony and then back to Devon without limping." Johnny said. "Are you sure this is gonna work?" Annie asked. "Yes now just go walk to Anthony." Johnny said. Annie slowly walked over to Anthony and she was doing really good until Hawk and some of the other kids showed up. "Woah mouseys taking her first steps do you want a cookie?" Hawk teased. Annie couldn't stand hearing him make fun of her anymore so she walked over to him and kicked him in the balls. "Damn Eli she got you good." Demetri said. "You little" Hawk said as he was about to punch Annie. Annie knew she was about to get punch so she stopped his hand. "If you hit me I will find where you live,cut all of your hair off,and your signed star wars poster will turn into ashe. Have I made myself clear?" Annie said. "Yes just let go off my hand." Hawk said. Annie let go of Hawks hand and then she punched him in his stomach. "Anyone else want a turn with Mousey?" Annie said. The other kids just back away while Johnny clapped. "Johnny what the hell is going on here?" Daniel said as he came outside. "Annie just took down Hawk in two punches while recovering from a broken ankle and two broken ribs." Johnny said. "Johnny she shouldn't be training right now she needs to rest." Daniel said. "But you didn't see her the fierceness in her eyes I mean she's gonna end up like her sister. Trust me with the right training and her recovering fast she'll be ready for a tournament." Johnny said. "Johnny I get it that you're all excited to put her in a tournament but we're not the ones who can make that decision." Daniel said. "What do you mean we can't make the decision she'll be our student." Johnny said. "But her parent or guardian has to sign off and since Tory is her legal guardian we don't know when she can compete." Daniel said. "Is this true Mousey?" Johnny said. "Yea Tory doesn't want me to get into karate because of everything that happened to her in Cobra Kai and the fact I got jumped there's no convincing her. But thanks for helping me walk I guess." Annie said as she started to slowly walk back inside. "Daniel you got to convince Tory we need her and her sister please if we want to take down Cobra Kai once and for all we need one of the best fighters in the Valley." Johnny said. "I'll try my best." Daniel said before everyone else started asking them questions.
