1. Bugs

Cole's POV

"Hey Cole! Come and hang with us yeah?" My friend Kingsley said in a cheerful tone.

"Not in the mood King." I muttered loud enough for them to hear.

"Aww Cole don't be like that!" They whine in my ear. I ignore and walked away from him. I heard him huff and walk away talking with Perrine but I didn't bother to look back. I'm too tired I just want to be by myself.

Everyone says I always have an attitude whenever anything happens no matter what the situation is. I mean I can't help it. I'm just being me..all these people in my village are so sensitive about me.

I walk far into the woods always from everyone , I just want to be alone that's all. No human contact just me and me. I can deal with myself.

I walk passing the grass looking up the tall tree trunks that have birds whistling to each other. This is what I need just peace. Something that can calm me down.

As I continue to walk through the woods I stop by this river flowing with blue water with small fishes inside. I sit down and rest my head against a tree trunk near me. I hum a small melody to get me sleepy enough to take a nap. This is what I needed. But something disturbed me.

Some sound coming from the other side. Like rustling. I go behind the trunk and poke my head out but just enough to see what is going on on the other side.

I see someone. Not just someone. Someone beautiful. Something was different about them. Their hair. No. Their face. No. Their clothes. No no no what was it. Something is different. Like they got this special surrounding. Aura

I see them on the other side as I kept poking my head out to see what they were going to do. I was eager to go up to them or say hi or anything to get them to notice me.

They knelt down to the river opening their hand revealing small insects and put them in the water for the fish to eat. They all rushed near them eating it all.

They giggled at the sight.

'Pretty' I thought.

"Slow down now.." they said quietly.

What a beautiful voice.

I went to take a another look but I set my hand down breaking a branch.

Shoot.

I looked at the person looking directly at me looking upset and scared.

"N-no I'm sorry don't be afraid-"

But before I could finish they grabbed their mask and ran off fast. Like they didn't want anyone to see them. Or anyone seeing them talking to me.

I huffed in disbelief. Can't believe they just ran off like that. Like I was being nice! I thought they seemed like a cool person but I guess not.
