Heated - Chapter 50

I tried to keep busy. 

To just do anything to keep my mind off from what has happened this afternoon. 

I was currently sat on my bed with all of my assignments and homework that I should get started on, but even though I had all this work, I just couldn't shake that feeling off from me. I was so scared to even leave my dorm room all by myself, fearing that Daniel would be out there just waiting for me. 

Waiting to take my life. 

There has to be more to this whole mystery than set out. I mean, why would he come to me after all this time and try to get revenge on Harry and I? 

It just doesn't add up. 

I needed someone to talk to about this, but I worried that if I do tell anyone, Daniel will find out and hurt them - maybe even worse. 

Becky hasn't come home in a long time and I was beginning to worry about her. She hasn't even called or sent me a text yet to tell me where she is. 

I decided to text her and ask if she's okay. 

[Me :

Hey, Becks. Where are you? I'm starting to worry. Please respond.]

Sent. 

I check the time on my phone and it was already 20:45pm. 

That's almost four hours of Becky being M.I.A.

I huff as I look down on all the paperwork blanketing my bed. 

This day seems like it's never ending. And it's even worse with the thoughts that are running through my mind. 

It seems like the more I try to stay away from drama, the more it follows me. And I hate it. I hate it so much!

That's why sometimes I wish I could live my life in a secluded area - in solitude - so that I don't have to go through all these things. But then again, loneliness will be the death of me. So that probably wouldn't work out. 

A few minutes later, my phone started to go off and I quickly pick it up, noticing that it's Becky calling. 

"Thank God! I was beginning to doubt whether you were alive or not."
