"Uma," I said singsong when I entered Ursula's Fish n Chip

"Uma," I said singsong when I entered Ursula's Fish n Chip. "Guess who's back," I said and sat at the table.

Uma gave me her full attention, which was as rare for her to do. Normally she'd listen with only half an ear. "Who?" She asked.

I felt proud that I got to present the information, "Mal," I said, feeling proud to share the information. Uma had a smirk on her face, "she's back, huh?"

"Too bad a pretty face like hers is gonna get hurt," Harry said in a calm tone. He did glint his eyes. "No need to hurt everyone we meet, physically that is."

"Uma! Uma!" Gil ran in and looked proud as well, I wonder what he discovered. "King Ben is here on the Isle!"

Uma and I glanced at each other, it felt as if we were connecting our minds, "Let's get Ben, I'm not sure what we're gonna ask in return, but it could be useful."

Uma nodded, she thought I had a good plan. "Good idea, I would've kidnapped the petty king anyway." Uma looked ready for the plan, "Gil, Harry, Cherry, go get the king. He needs to be here as soon as possible."

I nodded and took the lead, Harry and Gil followed. They showed the way to a sport the VKs used to hang out where they most likely would be.

I had a plan on how to get the king, "I'll lure him over here and then Gil and I will take him, Harry you go and tell them Mal needs to come to the shop, alone."

We started the plan and in a matter of time, we had the king and were on our way back to the boat to lock him up in a cell, Gil would be guarding him.

By the time King Ben was locked up, I met Harry outside. "And?" I asked. Harry had a smirk on his face, "You know taunting people is my speciality." I rolled my eyes at his comment, he was right, he was the first to get under my skin.

"Before long, we'll have the wand and we'll be free," I said to him. I didn't mind being on the Isle, it wasn't as bad for me as it was for them. I was happy here, or as happy as a villain could be.

Harry wrapped an around around my shoulders, the left one where he wore his hook. "I can sense you're not ready to leave yet," he said in my ear in a soft tone. He was right, but how did he know?

"How would you know I am and am not ready for?" What I said came across as denial, but I did mean what I asked. "It's natural, you're only getting used to the Isle, the rest of the world, that's a big step."

I shook my head, he was right, of course he was, but he didn't need to know. "I'll manage. I've come a long way since the day I left Mother's. I'm strong enough to be able to handle that."

Harry chuckled, it was playful, "I know you're strong, no need to remind me, princess."

"Will you quit calling me that?" I said it made me angry to be called that.

"Princess," he smirked and pulled me closer so I could fight him or leave. I groaned when he messed up my hair. "C'mon, you're ruining my hair," I said angrily.

Harry chuckled, "Like I said, you're a little princess." He earned a glare as I used a window to fix my hair. Once happy with how it was I kicked his leg and left him behind.

"Let's go to the chip shop, I wanna be there when Mal gets there," I said and went to the shop, it was Harry's business if he wanted to come too. All I cared for was being there, and I was hungry I wanna get some food.

It took an hour before the purple-haired girl entered the shop, "I'm back," she said in a voice I just didn't like.

"Loser, party of one. Right this way, please," Uma said and kicked a chair her way. Mal took the chair and sat on it backwards.

"Place still stinks," the purple head said. "Oh, I'm sorry. We're down a butler today, princess," Uma always had the perfect response. Luckily for once, it wasn't me being called princess.

Mal didn't seem impressed. She grew up with Uma so I guess they were used to each other and how one another acted, even if they didn't like each other. "Where is he?"

"You know, I've dreamed of this," Uma looked at me while we both chuckled. I got some closer to Uma, as some sort of backup. "You wanting something from me, and me watching you squirm as a worm on a hook."

"I'm so flattered that you dream of me. I haven't given you a thought since the day I left," Mal said, she sure felt though, I had to give her that.

Uma had enough of her and slammed down on the table, "obviously." She said. "She has her perfect little life, doesn't she?" I said it more than I asked it.

Uma stood up and looked around the room, "doesn't she have the perfect little life?" She asked all the pirates." The pirates talked among themselves about how right Uma was.

"And we're 20 years into a garbage strike," Uma seemed a bit calmer, but not less mad. We were all mad, this was supposed to be a program to free all the VKs but instead, they stopped with the first four leaving the rest of us to rot away.

Mal raised her voice a bit, "Listen, if you have some kind of score to settle with me, game on. I see no need to bring Ben into this."

Uma laughed, she loved this, the power she held. "It may be a little unnecessary. But, oh, it's so much fun."

It was fun to do whatever we wanted, I didn't actually have any right to be mad at Mal or to kidnap the King of Auradon, but sometimes you have to go along with your friends. It's not good to just follow along, but who said I was good? That I was righteous?

"Here's the deal," Uma said wanting to start a negotiation. "Just, like your mother, always a catch," Mal said. "So mother, so daughter, no?" I said and put my hand on Uma's shoulder.

Ursula's daughter sat down opposite Mal and put her arm out for an arm wrestle. "If you win, Ben if free to go."

Mal didn't hesitate to put her arm out too, with no regard to the consequences. "Don't you wanna know what I get if I win?"

"Still dreaming," I sighed and sat down, they both looked strong so I had no idea who would win. "Last time I checked your mother thought she had things all sewn up, too, huh? How'd that work out for her again?"

That set of Mal off, "on three."

They both counted down and started the arm wrestle. "You know, that whole princess act? Urg, I never bought it for a second. You could stick a tiara on a villain, but you're still a villain."

"And you could slap on a pirate hat, but you're still shrimpy." Oh no, she did not just say that.

It took a bit too long to my liking, but when Mal's eyes started glowing green and she was starting to win, I knew I had to do something.

"If Uma wins, you bring her the wand," I said. This distracted Mal enough for Uma to slam down her hand.

Everyone cheered and I laughed with Uma, she even hugged me, first timer. "We won girl," I cheered. Uma quickly pulled back and turned her attention to Mal, "Now... if you want beast boy back, bring me back Fairy Godmother's wand, to my ship tomorrow at 12, noon." She flipped her hair, "sharp."

Before walking away I leaned closer to Mal, "If you blab, you can kiss your baby goodbye."

I followed Uma to the main table where we celebrated for a while.
