Kane's POV

The dinner table is noisy but I look like a wilted vegetable, I don't feel like eating and I'm just trying because daddy and his friends are having dinner with me.

"Sircia, where is Ice?" Dad asked, I stopped for a moment, but I put that name out of my mind.

Nag closure na kami, wala na kaming anumang relasyon or what, we're done.

Of course, it hurts the head! In addition, the president who is always contacting me is waiting for Ice and I's plan! I don't know how to tell her that I don't want to associate with Ice anymore, kaso pride ng klase namin 'yon.

"He's busy. He's the one I'm handling one of my projects, I'm training him to be a perfect businessman." Aunt Sircia said, I just didn't pay attention. Am I good for that man?

"Did the meeting go well? Nagpaalam ka pa na hindi papasok si Ice." Dad asked, I stopped there, I was confused by what dad said.

"Nope, he said there was a problem with his presentation, he accidentally deleted it, and the meeting was canceled due to the commotion, I'm a little bit disappointed with that, my investor's time was wasted." Aunt Sircia said and sighed heavenly, I stopped even more when I heard, tanga? All this time, is he mad at me because I messed up with his project? Fuck! I'm messed up! He even covered me from my mistake! I felt so guilty now!

I'm not listening to what they're talking about anymore because I'm thinking, how could I take accountability for that? Fuck! I'm terrible! He put his time and effort for that, and then I just deleted it? Fuck! I was even angry with him, I said something that shouldn't be, how cruel am I? Fuck this shit!

My mind was confused, I didn't finish my food and said goodbye to them.

"Dad, it's an emergency, babawi po ako next time." I said goodbye before hurrying to leave, he stopped me but mom gave me permission so I left.

I rushed to his condo, I made a mistake! Not that I knew him! Tangina! I'm so stupid!

After arriving at the floor where Ice's condo is, I hurried to his room, I was still hesitating if I should ring the doorbell, let alone! I can't face him because of what I said earlier!

It's up to the Lord! I was about to ring the doorbell, but it suddenly opened, Ice and I were surprised. Naka pangalis na damit siya, he was leaving.

I saw a moment of shock in his eyes but he recovered immediately, he looked at me as if saying that's why you're here?'

I was dumbfounded where I was standing, no words came out of my mouth, damn!

"I-Ice, I'm sorry." Just as I said, he raised an eyebrow.

"I'm sorry I invalidated your feelings,  I'm sorry for what I did, I promise I didn't mean to delete it!" I said frustrated, his eyebrows are still raised.

"I didn't know how important that presentation was, I was a brat, I'm sorry for that; about what I said earlier, I didn't mean it! Promise, cross my heart!" My explanation seems childish.

"You didn't mean that meeting me was a mistake?" He asked coldly but his lips were pouted.

"No!" I quickly refused. "To be honest, I'm glad that I met you, I was just overcome by my emotions that's why I said that, I didn't—"

He hugged me tightly and closed the door, I couldn't finish what I was going to say, he leaned me against the door and kissed me, I was surprised by what he did.

"I'm sorry, Kane. I'm not in the position to judge you, I can't blame how stress I am because I know how to control my words, it's all my fault." He said he was tired and bent over my shoulder, I felt his warmest hug.
