18: Gaby and Mira

Hello everyone! I don't usually start an author's note at the very first part of the chapter, but I'm just so happy and amazed with all the support I've been getting to this book so I just had to do this!

I remember last June after finishing my finals and the breakup with my boyfriend, I decided to do something productive to keep my mind busy so I focused on writing the last chapters of "The Missing Princess", but on the process of writing the ending I suddenly had this idea about the tragic story of Miracle and her brothers at the same time I felt bad that Baby Gabriel's character in my last book wasn't really explored the way I wanted to, so I also decided to include him in the new story idea. And there it all started...

I was excited with the premise of the new book, but I was hesitant in publishing the story at first because I thought about the little time I had. I only have the whole of July as my free time before everything will start to get busy and hectic for me by August. But then again I just decided to make do with it and see what happens. And I really didn't expect the attention and love this book would get.

I honestly didn't expect that I would enjoy writing this book so much that I ended up updating almost everyday. Crazy. It hasn't even been a month since I started writing this, but we're already in Chapter 18 and the book already has almost 10k reads! That's quite an accomplishment on my part! So from the bottom of my heart, thank you my kind readers for the support and I can only hope that you'll continue supporting until the end of our sweet little Miracle's journey!🥹❤️

Now, I obviously won't be able to finish this book before the start of August, but even though I'm busy by then then I'll still try my best to update as much as I can!🫶

Chapter 18

-Gabriel Di Luca-

"Are you disgusted by me now, Gabriel? Y-you must be, I-I'm not as pure as you think I am. I'm not worthy of anything, I'm not worthy of you." My beautiful sweet little Miracle cried as she broke free and pulled herself away from my arms.

I wanted to fucking cry and scream out loud for everything my sweet girl endured and is still enduring.

They broke her so much.

They broke my girl.

My fist desperately wants to punch the shit out of all of them, all of those who caused her so much pain, all of those who broke her.

"Never." I growled making her ocean blue eyes snap to look at me in confusion. Those beautiful blue eyes are filled with so much pain that it hurts to even look at them.

I didn't like not feeling the softness of her flawless porcelain skin, I didn't like not having her in my arms, I didn't like how she's far away from me. She's safest here in my arms, I'll keep her safe, I'll always keep my Miracle safe.

"Never and I mean never ever think that I would be in any way disgusted of you, my beautiful Miracle." I firmly said, giving emphasis on each word to indicate just how much I mean them.

Her eyes widened as she stared at me having a hard time taking in what I just told her and then tears started to leak from those ocean blue orbs again.
