Chapter 43

It has been a tedious couple of days.

Tedious as it is though, one thing is for sure for the rest of us, everything has truly changed. I just can't seedem to tell yet if it is good or bad.

But honestly, how bad could it still be after everything that happened in our family?

All of us have been through a lot, but no more than our sweet little sister.

I never thought there would come a day when I would finally say and admit it to myself and everyone else that I miss my sister.

My brothers and I spent years ignoring her existence, wishing she was just gone, convincing ourselves that she's to blame for the unfortunate events that happened within our family, but now her existence is all we just wanted and needed.

I miss her so much.

We all do.

But again, no more than that boy, Gabriel.

Even though he wasn't here and there's been no contact with him since he left France, all we know, we could all still feel his strong and unwavering feelings for our sister.

I guess it's true, no one loves Miracle more than Gabriel.

I'm happy she finally has that person, the kind of person who can give her the love she deserves.

That's why this time we know he'll come back for her.

Anyway...

Although the past few days have been tedious, we were always still on the edge.

Mira still hasn't woke up.

The doctor told us that it's normal since she needs all the rest she can get and her body is healing on its own, but of course we still worry.

We have no words after seeing all the whip marks at her back. I literally ran outside and threw up, Max cries every time he sees it, Damion looked like he wanted to burn the world down, and Corbin well I don't even want to think about that stupid little brother of ours.

The Di Lucas better fucking make sure that Claude Laurent suffer for what he did to our sister, after all he also killed one of their own.

We're still here in Lyon. Mira is confined in a private hospital away from the public and we've all been taking turns in watching her, well except for my overprotective twin who refused to leave her side even for a minute, Max basically lives inside Mira's hospital room.

As well as Dana, who after hearing what happened immediately boarded a flight here in France using her own money. The old hag really loves it little sister.

And Damion forbade Corbin from being anywhere near her. Not like he could anyway as our eldest brother already sent him back to the US three days ago. I know he's remorseful for what he did, but it's really hard for any of us not to blame him for what happened.

The first day was hard, both Damion and Max didn't want to leave our sister's side, I didn't want to either, but realistically speaking the three of us just can't stay here in France and leave the headquarters behind, so I volunteered to go back and dragged Corbin along with me after Max almost beat him up. Now it has been three days and the board of the directors have been restless and needed to see the CEO, so Damion reluctantly went back to deal with them while I went back here in France. I guess until Mira's here, Damion and I are just going to take turns.
