/14 YEARS LATER/

*Mira is now 31 and Gaby is now 33*

The sun, a warm hand, caressed the park, painting the leaves in shades of emerald and gold. Laughter, like a melody, danced on the air, a symphony of joy orchestrated by a set of tiny feet. Miracle Di Luca was watching her daughter, her heart was overflowing with love.

Miracle, with her white blonde hair cascading over her shoulders, chased after her five year old daughter, Briel, who was giggling uncontrollably as she ran with a stick, pretending it was a magic wand. Just in time, Gabriel appeared, his hazel brown eyes crinkled at the corners with laughter, caught Briel just as she tripped over a root. He scooped her up, his strong arms holding her close. "Careful, principessa," he whispered, his voice a soothing balm. Briel snuggled into his chest, her laughter bubbling up again as he tickled her under her chin.

Miracle, her heart overflowing with a love that was both deep and expansive, watched them, a smile gracing her lips. Gabriel was her everything, her rock, her soulmate. He was the man who had held her hand through the stormiest nights, the man who had wiped away her tears and filled her days with laughter. Their love was woven with threads of shared dreams, whispered secrets, and countless moments of pure joy.

But then Miracle's smile automatically turned in a frown as she realized their son was still nowhere to be found.

"Gaby, you still haven't found, Alex?" She sighs.

Their little boy, unlike his twin sister, has always been sensitive, reserved, and introverted, he has this habit of just disappearing to play on his own, but he's just mostly hiding and not going far away much to his parents' relief.

They always need to keep a close eye on him, especially with his case, but how can they when their little girl is a hyperactive kid who bolts the first chance she gets?

The five year old Di Luca twins are definitely polar opposites despite the fact of looking so much alike. But Mira and Gaby love them both with all their hearts. The two of them are their little angels.

A lot has happened for the past fourteen years for Mira and Gaby, but the love they shared only bloomed stronger than ever.

Gabriel didn't exactly stick to his plan and instead immediately got on his knee to ask for Miracle's hand in marriage the day she graduated from medical school when she was twenty six. But it was still perfect. Both the proposal and everything that followed after that.

Months after their marriage, Miracle gave birth to their beautiful children, twins, a girl and a boy. Both of them inherit the beautiful features of both their parents, from Gabriel's fluffy dark brown hair to Miracle's ocean blue eyes. They named the twins;

Mirabriel Louise Di Luca

and

Alexander Declan Di Luca

They had trouble choosing the right name, especially for their daughter since Gabriel kept insisting the name he came up with and Miracle was against it, but eventually her cheeky husband wore her down, claiming that it was a wonderful name because it was the two of them. Miracle agreed under the condition that they will call their daughter Briel and not her full name.

On the other hand, their son's names are pretty special for both of them. It's their fathers names, after all.

But the twins are mostly called Briel and Alex.

And now, the family of four are happily living in France. Miracle is a successful pediatrician and Gabriel turned his father's business into a private security company which he is now the CEO.

Gabriel was about to reply to his wife when little Alex suddenly appeared out of nowhere. The little boy was unaware of his parents' worries as he stared up at them, blinking and unbothered, but for some reason there was something different about their son which no one can quite put a finger to.

"Oh, Alex, mon ange! Where have you been?" Miracle quickly ran to his son, crouching down to his height and holding both his little shoulders to examine him, much to her relief he's fine.

All of them were expecting Alex to shrug his shoulders or nod his head like he would usually do, but none of them could have expected what he did next,

"Lyra!"

He spoke!

All of their jaw dropped, even his twin sister. And why?

It was because it's the first word Alex ever spoke.

While Briel was perfectly healthy in all aspects and thriving in every new things she does, Alex was quite the opposite. A year ago, he was diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder which explains his sensitive and introverted nature. And even though he's five years old, he just never spoken anything, until now.

Who is this Lyra and what she did to him, they didn't know, but for some unknown reason, that name became their son's first word.

Miracle cried in joy and surprise as she tightly embraced and hugged her beautiful little boy.

"My beautiful baby boy!"

Gabriel also blinked back his tears as he sets his daughter down so that they can ask join the hug.

Even though it was only one word, and a random girl name at that, they were all still so happy to finally hear their little Alex speaking.

"Wait, buddy, where's your bear? Did you lost it?" Gabriel asked as he suddenly realized that his son wasn't holding his favorite stuffed bear. He never goes anywhere or sleeps without that bear.

But once again, Alex only chanted that same name again and again.

"Lyra! Lyra! Lyra!"

As the sun began its descent, casting long shadows across the park, the children, exhausted from their adventures, settled down on a blanket spread beneath a giant oak tree. Miracle and Gabriel, their hands intertwined, watched their children, their love for each other reflected in their eyes.

Miracle leaned her head against Gaby's shoulder, the warmth of his body radiating through her. "Remember when you proposed to me at this exact park five years ago?" she whispered, a hint of nostalgia in her voice.

Gabriel chuckled, "Remember that time we got lost in the cornfield and ended up eating corn on the cob for dinner?"

Miracle's laughter echoed through the park, a sound as sweet as the birdsong. "And then we got caught in the rain, and you held me close, and I knew..."

"You knew what?" Gabriel asked, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

"I knew that you were the one," Miracle whispered, her voice barely a breath. "I knew that I would spend the rest of my life with you. But who am I kidding? I've always known it since I was sixteen."

Gabriel leaned down and kissed her, a kiss that was both tender and passionate, a testament to the love that had blossomed between them, a love that had weathered the storms and thrived in the sunshine, a love that was as strong as the oak tree above them and as enduring as the earth itself.

The twins, oblivious to the unspoken words exchanged between their parents, continued to play.

As the stars began to twinkle in the twilight sky, Miracle and Gabriel gathered their children, their hearts brimming with love and gratitude. The park, bathed in the soft glow of the moon, held their memories, their laughter, their love, a testament to the magic that unfolded when two hearts found their home in each other.
