She needs to be taught a lesson

Ugh!! It all made sense now. Who was I kidding? She only said, "she's mine!" as in I'm her target for bullying. My bare arms made that idea very apparent. I turned over to Alice who was gone now, I assumed she ran off to the bathroom to pick the rest of our crappy lunch food out of her hair.

It was finally the end of the day and the whole last period Alice was quiet. This is especially weird for her cause she's the most extroverted person I know. I turned around to face her as I just packed up my things, "Are you okay?"

She nodded her head, "Yeah, yeah. I guess just shooken up? I was caught off guard by the whole attempted assault, you know?" She said with a pained laughter.

I brought her into a hug, and when I released her I said, "I think I'm changing the terms for this dare a little bit..."

Alice looked at me with a confused expression, "What terms?"

"Oh... Just the idea that after I make her fall for me I would be girlfriends with her. No way in hell!! I'm gonna make her fall and then break her heart just as quickly" I exclaimed to Alice who just kept intently staring at me.

"Fuck yes!! I agree to the slight change!! Let's hit that bitch where it hurts" After she said this we started walking out to her car. Once we got in she said, "Thanks Park... I'm glad you defended me earlier. And thanks for making me feel better about everything..." she shot me a mischievous grin, "This dare totally brightened my mood!!"

I giggle, "No problem bae, " I blew her a kiss to which she quickly turned her head.

The rest of the week seemed to pass slower than normal. Was it because Kaitlyn's been leaving me alone and therefore giving me no chances to do the dare? Maybe. But I didn't mind the boring days if it meant not getting shoved the ground and getting my jacket stolen. It's finally Friday so I guess it gives me an excuse to do some shopping over the weekend. I walk in to my first class, scanning the room for the sapphire-eyed blonde but I didn't see her. The tardy bell already rung, and she still wasn't there. After about 10 minutes of listening to the science teacher's boring lecture, the door opened. My eyes grew wide and my pulse quickened. There she was, walking in... WEARING MY JACKET?!?!?!?!

I just stared at her as she walked in, for a moment I met her gaze and she shot me the same evil glare as always. I rolled my eyes at that but I couldn't keep my eyes off her the whole class... in my jacket. But this time, she didn't even turn to look in my direction. And I was... disappointed? Why was she even late? And why the hell was she wearing my jacket?? Not that I'm complaining or anything... Bu still!! Is she trying to rub it in? I should go ask for it back... right? Now I'm so confused!! Ugh!!

And before I knew that bell had already rung and she was getting up to leave. I quickly gathered my things and ran after her. "Kai-kaitlyn" I said in between breaths. She was surprisingly quick so I had to run after her.

She turned to face me, obviously annoyed. "Initiating a conversation huh? Didn't I tell you to fuck off? Or do you need me to remind you of your place" She gritted her teeth, acting oblivious to the fact she was wearing my jacket.

"Yeah and my place is gonna be here until you hand back my jacket!!" I growled.

She started to slowly inch closer to me, my breath getting caught in the back of my throat. Im just scared right? My heart said otherwise. Once she was inches away from my face I felt the desire to close the gap and lean in, but my anger kept me from doing so. As she got closer and closer I thought she might just close the gap, giving me no room to breath. But instead she dodged my face and her head ended up right next to my ear. "Why don't you make me?"

I couldn't even think my heart was beating so loudly in my ears. I gulped loudly, unable to make eye contact with her as she backed up. "J-just" I paused. "Give it back!" I pounced towards her and grabbed the jacket, pushing her back in the process. Before I realized it we fell back to the ground, me on top of her.  I froze, my eyes unable to look away from hers. Her sapphire eyes were making my heart melt and freeze at the exact same time.

"Get off of me you creep!" She yelled after a full minute in this position. I couldn't read her expression as she got off but she sounded furious. She shoved me into the locker and stormed off. Still wearing my jacket. I couldn't tell if  the butterflies in my stomach were because I was scared or if something else was going on... but I'll be damned if it gets in the way of completing this dare.
