No one has even looked at Bakugou in four weeks.
He wants to feel angry.
He wants to blame this all on the class so he can feel better, but he can't. He knows that this is all his own doing. Everything is going wrong, and it is all his fault.
"And that wraps up today's class, you're all dismissed." Aizawa said, and the class started to file out.
"Not you, Bakugou, I'd like to speak with you."
Fear flashed across his face, and everyone saw it.
Once again, many thoughts raced through his head.
'This cannot be good. Did I upset him too? Is he kicking me out of UA?'
Once everyone had left the room, Bakugou walked over to Aizawa's desk.
"You needed me for something?"
"Yes, Bakugou. I wanted to discuss your grades. Normally you aren't a student I have to worry about when it comes to academics, but your last few exam results are abnormally low. Is there something going on?"
He was totally not expecting that. Have his grades really been that bad?
"Uh...." If he told the truth, would everything go back to normal?
"I'm just struggling to get the notes in class, I'm sorry." He said as he looked anywhere but Aizawa.
"But I do have a question."
"Go ahead."
"Do you know why no one is signing when they talk? I can't make any of their words out, and it's really hard to understand the lessons."
Aizawa looked very confused when Bakugou asked this question. This made Bakugou very confused.
"No, I have no idea. I thought you had asked them not to sign anymore. I just figured, since the class wasn't signing anymore, that I shouldn't intervene. I just continued to sign because you never said anything to me about it. I guess that wasn't the reason."
"Then why did they stop signing? Not just signing, why did they stop talking to me? None of them are even looking in my direction! Not even my friends!"
Aizawa was a little taken back. He hadn't realized how much Bakugou really cares about the class, so much so that he wants them to actually interact with him. All this time he thought that Bakugou's yelling was to keep them away, when it was really just his personality.
"Bakugou, I'm so sorry, I really have no idea why they are doing this. Would you like me to speak with them?"
"No. I don't need someone else to stick up for me, I'm good on my own. If they don't wanna look at me, that's their problem." There's the Bakugou he knows.
"Alright then.... Well that's all. Just let me know if you need anything." Aizawa said.
"Uh..yeah." He didn't know what to say. This is the nicest anyone has been to him in almost a month.
"Thanks Old Man." Bakugou finally said, right before leaving the room.
That's when Aizawa knew that Bakugou isn't as bad as he pretends to be.
