I was sailing out at sea, "Isn't this great, Father? The salty sea air, the wind blowing in your face!" I exclaimed and my father was getting seasick, "Oh yes, delightful, my son." My father said and puked.

My dog, Kinsey, barked as the men were catching fish and hoisted the sails. The uncharted waters were my calling, the sea and I belong together, "Barbas! Can you tell me the legend of the sea king?" I said and he smiled.

"Well, Prince Ian. The sea king is the mighty ruler of the sea, he has a beautiful queen and six sons, the seventh child is a beautiful princess of red hair and her eyes of brown, they look golden at first when the sun shines brightly. The young princess is very adventurous as she grew up, she longed to see the world above, but the king kept her in the castle constantly. One of her older brothers, the 6th Prince, often go with her to escape the palace and go on adventures. The two are best friends like they were little children." Barbas said and I listened.

"I hope I'll meet this beautiful little mermaid." I said and Barbas laughed, "Prince Ian. She's a really rebellious type, that mermaid is very courageous for her age." He said and I smiled.

I'm dying to meet her, I think I might've fallen in love without meeting her, but hearing her story seems to catch my eye.
