'beautiful flowers for the most beautiful girl' i gasp at the sight of pink roses, nicely put into a bouquet

'leo you didn't have to!' im literally left in awe

'of course i did, amore' i hug him, my arms wrapped around his neck

it's been a whole week since we found out the gender of the baby, and today is finally the last day i have to see faces i can't stand

it's graduation day

his phone rings suddenly and he answers immediately

'hola ma' he says with a smile, his mother is on the other side of the phone 'si estoy bien, todo esta bien' (yes im good, everything's fine)

i have no idea what he's saying

'si, ella esta aqui' (yes, she's here)

he looks at me then, puts his phone on speaker

'hi my love' i hear her voice through the phone and immediately smile

'hi mrs sofia'

'it's just sofia for you cariño'

i giggle

'is everything okay darling?' she asks then

'yes everything's perfect here' i look up at leo, having a smirk because of our little secret, although i do feel guilty for not telling her i respect leo's choice of waiting

'im glad mi amor' she says then, i like the way both her and her son call me the same thing

amor

after a bit more of a chit-chat with leo's mom, we have our breakfast together, and then after that i make a decision to do my makeup for today so i head at the bathroom's mirror

i can see a bit of a swelling on my legs, not much but it's still there, also my belly is by now visible to the point you can tell it's not just bloated from food, good thing the uniforms they have for graduation cover up completely the body

my baby girl is in there, that feels crazy

i suddenly feel two big palms on my belly, leo is behind me, his head resting on my neck

'are you okay amore?' he asks softly, i nod

'so happy that it's finally over' i say referring to school
