Bobby Driscoll was the first child actor Walt ever hired.
He was also the first actor to sign a contract with Disney.
Bobby was Walt's favorite child star. Mr Disney actually treated Bobby very affectionately and, according to Mark Elliot, as "the embodiment of his own youth."
Knowing this, we realize just how unfair the rest of Bobby's life was after Disney dumped him.
