It was pouring outside, at this point, ladybug was soaked, and shivering.
"I'm sorry, come inside." Adrien said brushing her gloved hand with his fingertips.
"O-ok.. so by what you said... you saw your father.. transform into hawkmoth..?" Ladybug said, her voice shaky from being out in the cold.
Adrien felt himself tear up again.
"Yeah, I was showering and.. through the crack of the door.. I saw him transform.."
Adrien felt plagg gently pat his chest from under his jacket. It comforted him and made him smile a little.
It got silent. Not an uncomfortable silence, but actually quite the opposite. Ladybug was laying on his bed, listening to what he said. He, on the other hand was sitting in his desk chair. Then, he thought about it again. Tears started to blur his vision.
"No, nonononono! Adrien please don't cry."
He couldn't speak. In fact the crying was making everything worse. He had a migraine from all of this crying.
"I-I can't sto-op.. he was the only family that I had left! Now all I have is.. felix.. and my aunt."
"You still have your friends!.. they will understand your situation once me and chat noir defeat him. You'll see."
"But what if you guys don't. What if I-i mean chat noir, fails you?" Adrien said, sniffling now instead of crying.
"He wouldn't fail me. Ever. He is my partner. I love him. He is the only person who would never fail me. Ever. You too adrien.. I just can't believe me and chat found out his identity tonight. We were just doing patrol and-"
"I know. You have to go home now, your parents are probably waiting."
"Right. I hope we can do this again Adrien. Bye!" Ladybug said as she flung her yoyo and away she went.
"You too m'lady." Adrien said, making sure ladybug didn't hear the last part.
Mari/ladybug pov:
"You too."
I swung and leaped to my house as fast as I could, remembering I had dinner with my parents.
"Spots off."
I went down through the balcony hatch, onto my bed just in time.
"Marinette? Time for dinner honey!" Sabine said, opening the hatch from inside my room.
"Alright mom."
As they ate the delicious home cooked meal, Marinette couldn't help but think about Adrien.
