"Yes, but how do you know that I won't leave you? Leave you alone to defeat hawkmoth all by yourself. Most importantly, how do you know that I won't be akumitised again? And since your the guardian-"

"Stop. I can not. Stand Chat blanc again. Stay here. With me. Don't be sad, I love you, Chat." Ladybug said, pulling Chat into a hug.

Adrien/chat pov:

"I will not tolerate you being around Marinette dupain cheng. I forbid any relationship with her for you Adrien. You are an Agreste, and you will have kagami or no one." Gabriel said coldly, rubbing his wedding band back and forth.

"Y-y-yes, father."

"And if you disobey my rule, I am going to be disappointed. In you, for destroying the Agreste brand. I will disown you. And since physically abusing you isn't enough, I will be sure you will always, always stay with the Agreste brand. And stick with your arranged marriage with Kagami."

"But father-" Adrien said, tears welling up in his eyes.

Soon, Adrien left to his room, filled with sadness, anger, and depression.

"Awe, yes. A heart filled with sadness and anger for my perfect akuma." Hawkmoth said, cupping a butterfly in his hand, turning it into an akuma.

"Fly away my little Akuma, and evilize him."

The Akuma flew into adriens room, absorbing itself into his miraculous, a ring.

"Hello, heartbreaker. You can destroy anything that includes love. But, I don't give this power for free, in return, I want ladybug and chat noirs miraculous." Hawkmoth says, manipulating adrien.

"No, I'm not doing that!" Adrien yelled, breaking the Akuma's spell.

He started to tremble. His eyes were wide, and his mouth hung open.

I almost got akumitised. What will ladybug think about me? Adrien thought.

Mari/lb pov:

"Please, no. No!" Chat yell whispered.

"What's wrong kitty? Chat? Chat noir!" Ladybug yelled, breaking the embrace and holding chats hands.

Tears were forming in his eyes. That means he must've had some trauma. She hadn't noticed it before, but he had a bruise on his cheek, covered up partly by his mask.

"Chat what is this?" Ladybug asked, brushing his cheek with her fingers.

"It's nothing. My father is just a little ticked today." Chat said, covering his cheek.

"Nothing? Just a little? Chat how long has this been going on?"

"Ever since I got put in an arranged marriage." Chat said, wanting to just get to patrol.

"Poor chat." Ladybug whispered to herself.

"My father put me in this situation because of our family. He is doing this for my mother, she died a long time ago, and he still hadn't moved on."

"Aw, chat-"

"Have you ever wanted to... to die?"

"No? Why would you say that? Are you ok?"

"No. I'm not ok. I'm forced to marry someone I barely know at 18. It's pissing me off. My father thinks he can control my life. I think I'm going to run away." Chat said, balling his hand into fists.

"And most of all, I almost got akumitised this morning."

"W-what?"

"I was frustrated about the situation, then boom, an akuma flew into my ring, almost akumitising me."

"Kitty, I love you, if you ever died I wouldn't be myself, I would be heartbroken; knowing that the one and only Chat, my partner, died. My cousin killed herself, I wasn't right in the head for years, and I don't want history to repeat. So, whatever you do, please dont kill yourself?" Ladybug said, cupping Chats bruised cheek, while holding his arm.

"O-ok.. is it ok if I reveal my identity to one person? Please?" Chat asked, now sitting on the cold concrete, his back against the railing.

"I'm sorry, but I can't. But, after we defeat hawkmoth, we can reveal to anyone. And plus, I have a reveal party for your friends and mine, so when we get them as super heros, we will reveal at the park. " Ladybug said, finally sitting next to Chat noir.

"That sounds great." Chat said, hugging ladybug. His ring beeps.

"Well, gotta go. Thank you for listening to me. See ya!" Chat said, extending his baton towards Marinettes.
