Part 2 of flowers? This is intended to be long.. making up for all of the short chapters.. soo sorry for not updating; school is starting soon, and I am trying to update as much as I can..

When Marinette got home, she promised her parents she would make a new recipe for them. But a naughty kitty was upstairs, planning something..

"Let's start the recipe!" Marinettes dad exclaimed.

"Haha, ok honey! Marinette, could you go wash your hands and put your apron on?" Sabine asked, washing her hands.

"Of course!" Marinette said, walking up her stairs to her bedroom.

Adrien/chat pov:

Since I was starting to feel different around Marinette, I realized that I may have feelings for her that are more than a friend. So I decided to plan a little date on her balcony. But then I started to hear her walk up the stairs.

3rd person:

"Shit." Chat whispered.

Chat quickly hid on Marinettes roof and stopped breathing. Then he heard the water turn on.

He heard Marinette humming, but very faintly since he was outside. He then decided to text her; to catch her attention.

"Claws in." Chat said, while detransforming. He hushed plagg with his finger and quickly grabbed his phone from his pocket.

Hey, wanna hang out sometime?

Sent, 8:36 p.m.

Then, he heard her squeal.

"Oh my gosh!!! Adrien texted meeeee!" Marinette said, forgetting she was supposed to be downstairs.

Adrien, still on the roof, chuckled. He had never really seen this side of Marinette before. Well, maybe once or twice with luka, but he had never seen her like this because of him.

"I'm going to call alya!" Marinette shouted.

Adrien then heard the phone ring. And went away faintly; she was going back downstairs.

"Plagg, claws out!" Adrien whispered. He was chat now, so he continued with his little plan.

He had scattered red rose petals all over her balcony, and even her bed so he could give her a hint. He had lit candles on the railing of her balcony so it was dimmly lit in the night. Pillows were spread out so they could hang out. Chat had also gone to a jewelry shop as Adrien so he could buy friendship rings for the both of them. (Chapter picture.)

"Perfect." Chat said, now leaning against the balcony.

He waited. And waited. AAAnd waited. Then, He heard Marinette walking up the stairs, still talking to Alya.

"Alright! I'll call you in a bit! Bye!" Marinette said, hanging up the call.

Mari pov:

I had just hung up the call when I saw rose pedals? On my bed?

Knock knock

I opened up the hatch to see chat noir, holding a hand towards me.

"Come on! I have a surprise for you!" Chat said.

"Uhm, o-ok."Marinette said. She felt a hand cover her eyes, and an arm pull her up onto her balcony.

"You can open your eyes now princess."

Marinette slowly opened her eyes. Revealing a beautiful balcony date.

"Oh my gosh! Did you do this?" Marinette asked.

"the one and only Chat noir." Chat said.

"Oh my gosh it's so pretty! Thank you!" Marinette hugged chat tightly, playing with his hair.

Chat chuckled. He felt warm. No one had ever hugged him this tight, he felt... loved.

"This night does have a few more surprises though." Chat said, breaking the hug to pull something out of his pocket.

Chat pov:

I pulled out the ring, in a box of course, it was a silver ring; and it resembled a cat. Chat had one of his own, still sitting in his pocket.

"Since we have been getting to know each other, I wanted to get something special, for the both of us. May I?" He was holding the ring in his hand now, holding Marinettes hand, gesturing to put on the ring.

Marinette nodded. Chat then put the ring on her finger, unknowingly sending shivers down her spine.

Marinette, fascinated, held up her right hand to look at the ring. It was beautiful.

"It's so pretty! Thank you s-so much!" Marinette said, hugging chat noir and kissing his cheek.

Chat blushed. "I um.. a-actually have one of my own, so we can.. bond?.. you actually know me in my civilian form as well."

"I-i do?"

"Yeah, actually, we're friends."

Marinette gasped. She knew him in his civilian form? He was literally telling her his identity. Just.. a few clues to get to it though.

"What about ladybug? Did You ask her if you could reveal?" Marinette said knowing the answer.

"Um, no.. but I'm going to ask if we could reveal to each other the next time I see her."

"Well, I hope she says yes.. buuutt where did you get these rings? I want to get alya, Nino and Adrien some. Obviously different designs, but you know:)" Marinette smiled playfully as she spoke. Chat, on the other hand was blushing. He couldn't help but blush when his friend, Marinette spoke. She was just so kind, loving, and pretty-

"I- I um.. got them at the Jeweler Marais." (this is a real place in Paris, but I don't think they sell the rings in the photo.)

"Oh my gosh! Cool! That place is near the bakery so I can get them quickly! I'll just have to ask Nino, Alya and Adrien what kind of rings they prefer.. or necklaces."

Marinette thought quietly. But chat interrupted her train of thoughts.

" they also have fake-versions of the miraculouses... maybe you could get them the ones that might fit them well.."

"Your right! I could give alya the fox.. Nino the.. turtle?m..yea! The turtle for Nino! But adrien..."

Chat panicked.

"I'll just give him the cat ring.. you think it'll fit his personality?" Marinette asked.

His panicking got worse. How could he explain without revealing his identity? An idea sparked in his head.

"How about you give him the ladybug earrings?" Asked chat.

Marinette chuckled at the thought.

"Earrings? Especially red earrings? He would laugh at me. I think I'll stick with your ring, plus it would kind of match the ring he already has."

Uh. Oh. Chat thought.
