Later that day, Azira was standing next to her locker with Mal and Evie when the trio saw Ben walk out of class with Chad Charming and Audrey. Chad hits Ben and points to them.

"Those kids are trouble," Chad told Ben as he looked at Mal's locker where she spray-painted a 'Long Live Evil' design.

"Bye, Azzy, Bye, M," Evie said to Mal and Azira before walking away.

"Bye Evie!" Azzy said.

"Bye E," Mal told her before she turned back to her locker and took her spell book out.

"Come on, Chad," Ben said, "Give them a chance,"

Audrey took his hands. "No offense, Benny-bear, but you're just too trusting. Look, I know your mom fell in love with a big nasty beast who turned out to be a prince but, with my mom the evil fairy was just the evil fairy. Her mother!" Audrey then nudged her head to Mal. "And I don't know who her deal is," she gestured to Azira. "But I don't trust her. Not one bit."

"I think you're wrong about them," Ben told the two of them with a shrug. "I'll see you later."

Audrey shook her head and walked away with Chad following her.

"I'll see you later, M," Azira said before grabbing her backpack. "Bye."

"Bye Azzy," Mal said.

Azira smiled at Mal before walking away as Ben walked to Mal.

Azira walked out to the yard and just sat down at one of the tables. She was tired for some reason and decided to just lay her head down before the bell rang for the next class.

Azira had her head in her hands for a moment until she felt someone tap on her shoulder.

Azira sighed. "Sorry," I said. "I don't take pity parties at this moment."

The person then chuckled. "Bummer," they said. "I thought there was gonna be an exception."

Azira looked up to see Eliott smiling down at her. She silently groaned.

"Why are you here?" she asked as Eliott sat down beside her.

"Because I saw that you were lonely and I wanted to accompany you," he answered.

"Why?" Azira asked.

The snow prince shrugged. "I just thought you needed it."

Azira just scoffed before turning her head away from him, facing the rest of the yard in front of them.

Unbeknownst to her, Eliott was staring at her again.

"Have you ever dated anyone?" he asked before he realized what he just said and tried to correct himself as Azira gave him a suspicious look. "I-I don't mean it like that, I meant like h-have you ever um..."

To his surprise, Azira chuckled. "To answer your surprisingly stupid question, no, I have not dated anyone. I have had many minor gods try to court me before but I have never dated anyone."

Eliott cleared his throat. "Oh, really?" he asked. "I thought because you're so um...you know, you might've had a boyfriend or two."

Azira raised an eyebrow at him. "No, I don't know," she said. "Are you trying to call me pretty?'

Eliott started stammering. "Uh, no-I mean, yes, uh, I don't know, maybe."

Azira rolled her eyes. "Wow," she said. "Well, for your information, if you were calling me pretty, then thanks. But try not to be so nervous next time, alright?"

The daughter of Ares got up and walked away from Eliott but instead of an annoyed face, it was replaced with a smile.

Eliott was sitting there for a moment until someone else sat in Azira's seat. Eliott looked hopefully only to see his older cousin, Arin, beside him.

"Did I just see you talking to a Vk?" Arin asked his cousin.

"Why?" Eliott asked.

Arin shrugged. "I don't know. I just figured when you said you saw a pretty girl I thought you meant one of the princesses. If I'm being honest, she is really pretty."

"Arin!" Eliott scolded.

"What?" the older boy asked. "Am I wrong?"

Eliott scoffed. "You're acting like your mom," he said.

"So are you, little cousin!" Arin said cheerfully.

Eliott sighed before grabbing his backpack and walking away from his cousin.

"Wait!" Arin yelled. "It's not like it's a bad thing!"

Azira walked into the bathroom where she saw the girl from earlier, Jane. She had different hair than from when she last saw her but she just shrugged it off and made her way to one of the stalls.

"Nice hair," Azira muttered as she the door to the nearby stall.

Jane squeaked once she heard Azira's voice. "Uh th-thanks um..."

"Azira," she replied. "Mal did it for you? I suspect she did since it looks similar to hers."

Jane nodded. "She did," she confirmed. "I'm just in here admiring it."

"Cool," Azira said as she finished up in the stall. "Oh, and Jane?"

"Hmm?" Jane asked as she faced Azira, who was coming out of the stall.

"I have no hard feelings," she said. "For the uh, book room incident yesterday. I know I looked like I did but between you and me? No hard feelings."

Jane nodded. "Thanks, Azira," she smiled nervously as Azira went to wash her hands. "And, I'm sorry that I was actually in your room to begin with. Audrey thought it would've been funny to, you know, ruin your book. We didn't think it could be fixed like that."

Azira sighed. "It can get ruined," she said. "It can't get wet or burned, but it can get torn up like a regular book and needs a really strong spell to fix it. A spell that I do not have under control yet."

Jane winced. "Why is this book so special to you?" she asked. "Is it a book from someone special?"

Azira nodded. "It was from my dad," she said. "You know? Ares? He had Hephestas make the covers and had Athena make the pages. The only time they actually worked together on something," she chuckled. "Well, once he got it together, he gave it to me as a present once I left for the Isles."

Jane smiled as Azira turned to face her. "Your dad sounds nice. Why would he send you to the Isles?"

Azira shrugged. "To go stay with a family member."

Once she noticed Jane's confused face she laughed. "Don't worry, bluey," she said. "He's no threat. He's actually a teddy bear when he's not provoked."

Jane relaxed and smiled. "You are really nice," she complimented.

Azira chuckled. "Well, I learned it from my father," she replied.

Jane nodded. "Um, well I guess we have to get back to class?"

"Class?" Azira asked. "The bell hasn't rung ye-"

Just as she was about to finish, the bell rang out, signaling the next class.

The two girls looked at each other before bursting out in laughter as they headed to their classes.

"How did you do that?" Azira asked.

"Spend time around clocks like me and you'd get to have a free mental one 24/7," Jane replied.

"Wow," Azira said. "Your mom does have a thing for curfews. I thought she was kidding."
