Recap:

Eleanora Blofis discovers she's not actually the daughter of Paul Blofis, a mere mortal. She discovers she's actually the daughter of Apollo. Which explains all the weird and horrible things that keep happening in her life. She also finds out that her step brother Percy Jackson is also a child of a Greek god.

And together they are blamed for blowing up a school trying to escape monsters. Percy brings her to camp where she finally realized she's not different, she's hardwired for battle and ancient Greek.

But she's angry at the gods, she feels forgotten and left, she feels they are a little too full of themselves. Her first few days she's given a quest, and she has to figure out real fast who's a friend and who's not, who she can trust, and if the gods themselves are trustworthy. She also needs to figure out how her new powers work while trying to lead a quest through the Labyrinth trying to find Helios, the kidnapped senile Titan god of the Sun, who's fading. Once he's returned she realizes she's not just Apollo's kid. But also Helios's as well, and not just Helios...it was his Roman side who "sun flared" into Apollo before Apollo went to see Nora's mother, the night she was conceived.

What does being a daughter of a Roman Titan god and a Greek Olympian god mean for Nora and her future? She doesn't know, but the gods in attendance on this revelation where sworn to secrecy on the River Styx.

During her quest her feelings for her quest mate Raphael Marino become so strong she gives Aphrodite a solid piece of her mind and ends up cussing her out resalting in being cursed. She's now mute and deaf.

She also ends up in a few side quests, feeding Apollo's Sun Chariot horses and finding Nico Di Angelo and adopting him as her own. She also finds her self in a dungeon of the Titans Kronos and Hyperion. She witnesses the rebirth of a Phoenix, and rescues another sun and war horse named Glitter. Together the three escape the fortress of Kronos, but not before she's offered a place in his arm, a place of great grandeur.

With her new powers and understand if who she is, she charges in battle to help save her friends and her camp.... Only to have a lot of the campers shy away from her scared of her new powers.

The book ends with her enjoying the summer at camp, learning and training, trying to feed and care for a very emo and stubborn Nico and of course Raph, the best boyfriend.
