Rachel Elizabeth Dare stood up and straightened her shirt and tucked her wild red curled behind her ears. Raph helped me and and be stepped back, giving her room.

"I will give you room to work." Chiron said and signed and then waved a bunch of satyrs over. They picked up his bed and brought him down the steps and closer to the volleyball pit.

"You got this Cuz." I signed and nodded at Rachel.

"Well...see ya on the other side." She gave me one last look and I nodded. She took a big inhale and closed her eyes. She held her hands out to the side, and ripped her head back. She started to whisper something, I could see her mouth moving, but when I looked at Raph he shrugged.

"Ancient Greek maybe?" Was his answer.

I watched as her arms rose up like she was waiting for someone inside the house to throw her a ball. Suddenly,
green light shot out all the windows, just like I'd seen in my dream about May Castellan. Mist- the magical green kind- started to swirl and press against the glass, it started to seep out of the cracks, and spread out around the yard.

Raph turned his head and I followed his actions and saw what made him turn. Percy, Annabeth and Nico were running towards us. Percy was shouting something frantic. The Satyrs were holding him back. I rolled my eyes and Raph and I went over.

"What's she doing?" Annabeth demanded. "How did she get past the barriers?"

"She flew," one of the satyrs said (I looked to Raph who translated what the satyrs said) the satyr was looking accusingly at Blackjack who was cantering nervously nearby. "Right past the dragon, right through the magic boundaries."

"Rachel!"  Percy called, he tried to step closer, but I stepped in front and placed a hand on his chest.

I shook my head. "Don't."

"Percy, don't," Chiron also warned.

"You can't interrupt now." I said, I could feel the must swirling in my chest. The awful taste made my stomach feel sick.

"I thought you explained things to her!" He rounded on Chiron, he looked very worried and I sighed, rubbing my forehead. I swear he must have forgotten the whole conversation with my dad and Sally at the kitchen table.

"I did." Chiron said simply, "And I invited her here."

Percy stared at him in disbelief. "You said you'd never let anyone try again! You said-"

"I know what I said, Percy. But I was wrong. After I spoke with your sister, and she explained Rachel's origins and after Rachel had a vision about the curse of Hades. Your sister explained a lot, Eleanora and Rachel are both direct descendants of Pythia, the first Oracle of Delphi. She convinced me she deserves a chance."

"And if the curse isn't lifted? If Hades hasn't gotten to that yet, she'll go crazy!" Percy accused me.

"Percy! This time you gotta trust me." I insisted. "This is my area, this is what I know, please just-"

The Mist swirled around Rachel. She shivered like she was going into shock.

"Hey!" Percy shouted. "Stop!"

He shoved me aside and ran toward her, ignoring the satyrs and everyone else. A surge of anger bubbled up and I threw a wall of heat around Rachel. Percy couldn't get within ten feet and hit the invisible wall. He bounced back and landed in the grass.

"Nora!" He roared, I didn't need his sign to let me know he was angry. "Stop this!"

I shook my head.

"Nico! Tell him to shut up and have some faith. We know what we're doing!"

"Umm... I'd rather not."
