Someone was shaking my shoulders. My eyes fluttered open. Everything hurt and I was cold. I could feel everything shivering and shaking. Raph was leaning over me, his dark eyes filled with worry and fear.
"Hang on." He signed.
"I...." My hand shook violently. I couldn't control the tremors. He pulled his hoodie off and pressed it to my side as I whimpered with the pain.
"Sorry. Hang on. I have no Ambrosia. I didn't pack any!"
"Home." I signed.
He nodded. He scooped me up as I cried out, silently, in pain. Hands hands clenched his shirt, hanging on for dear life, the waves of pain making me want to throw up. My vision was clouded with pain, but I saw cars on fire and smoke billowing into the air. I saw red and blue flashing lights of police cars and fire trucks. Ambulances were appearing everywhere. It looked like a terrible multi car crash. Maybe that was what the mist made the mortals see.
Raph elbowed through the crowd of spectators, a few tried to stop him when they saw how bloody I was. He just shook them off and got to the bike. He held me tight to his chest as he took off. Not bothering with the helmets, he held me with one hand in front of him as he steered with the other.
My vision came and went my head flopped a few times, I was having a hard time staying conscious now. Every time I flopped Raph was shaking me. I just...wanted to close my eyes and sleep. The pain was so intense. My clothes were soaked and now Raph was too. He ignored all traffic laws, flying through red lights and in and out of traffic. I pressed my face into his chest trying to hold onto the little bit of consciousness.
It didn't take long to make it back to my apartment. Raph held me tight as he buzzed us in. Raph took the stairs two at a time, the elevator was always so slow. He ran down the hall and was pounding on the door. My head flopped and I was losing the fight to stay awake. The door was thrown open.
A wild "SURPRISE!" was instantly cut off as Raph stumbled into the apartment holding me; we were both bruised and bloody, but I definitely, probably didn't look to good. I could feel the blood dripping from my side.
I was jerked awake by the amount of people and the balloons and streamers. There was a sudden stillness, everyone froze and then like someone unpaused life everyone jumped, and started rushing around. I assumed everyone was talking over everyone, but without being able to hear I had no idea, I just assumed. I was laid down on something and things were being handed and passed, my bloody shirt was ripped away from the wound.
Will's bright sunshiny face appeared in my vision. Something was dropped into my mouth that tasted like dad's Saturday morning pancakes and bacon. I felt a sharp pinch in my side making me flinch. Someone grabbed my hand and held it tight. Finally my consciousness let me fade into nothingness.

I came around and slowly peeled my eyes open. It took me a few times to blink them open long enough to figure out what was going on. I noticed something soft under me. Something gentle but rough was running along the side of my face. I groaned, or tried to anyways. I shifted my head and I felt whatever I was laying on shift- I guess whoever I was laying on. I tilted my head up. My head was in Raph's lap.
"Welcome back Sparky."
"Uhg." Was all I could manage.
I blinked a few more times and looked around. There were balloons and streamers, a big Happy Birthday banner tapped to the wall. I lifted a hand and rubbed my eyes.
