POV Olivia (Liv)

From the moment we walked into this room, I realized that Ava was the child Scar and I had been looking for for 2 years. I realized this urge to take care of her as soon as she sat there anxiously in the corner of the room. I know Scar feels the same way and after we talked to Ava a bit to get to know her better and of course she gave us Scar gave me a questioning look if she should give Mrs. Callie the sign and I couldn't help but nod and look right back at Ava to ask her that one question we've been waiting 2 years to ask. "Ava, baby me and Scarlett would really love to adopt you and welcome you into our family. Are you okay with that? " in response she gives me a nod and starts to cry. "Do you really want me?" and I can't help but pull her into my arms and say "Yes baby we have been looking for so long for the one child we can call our child and that one child is without question you. We will always love you yes? " and she nods. her crying is quickly calmed and she cuddles up to me. I get up with her in my arms and Scar goes ahead to Mrs. Callie to take care of the paperwork while I take care of little Ava and pack her things. I don't think Ava can do that now because she's apparently regressed. Judging by her behavior, she must be between 5 and 6 months old. An "Awww" escapes me as she tries to put her stuffed dog in her mouth. When Scar comes back in and sees the scene, she starts laughing and says, "Liv, you should give her her pacifier before Blue has no fur left on her ears." "Yes, I know, Scar, but I was just about to do it," I say while rolling her eyes and smiling. "Baby girl, come on, here's your pacifier. It's definitely better than Blue's ear," says Scar and gives her the pacifier while I chuckle. After that, Scar organized a baby seat and took care of Ava so that we could take her home. I took care of my share of the paperwork. When I was finally finished, it was already 7 p.m. and Ava was fast asleep in Scar's arms and sucking on her pacifier. Mrs. Callie came after us and told us that everything was sorted and that her name is now Ava Angelina Russo and that she is our child. With that we say goodbye and thank her for her help. Scar carries Ava to our car and tries to put her in her car seat and buckle her in so we can drive home. But she doesn't make it easy for us because she has a death grip on Scar's shirt and when we finally get her off she starts to cry, so I get in next to the car seat and give her my hand so she can drink and her pacifier. We were able to calm her down and buckle her in and are now on the way home. Now that we're almost home, it feels so real and our dream of having our own child has finally come true and we will do everything for her to make sure she feels comfortable and safe. I know that for sure. During the rest of the car ride, Scar and I talk about how we're going to buy her a few more things and when we're going to introduce her to our families. But for now we're concentrating on Ava, so we're going to take this week off to spend as much time with her as possible. I am so overjoyed and so is Scar, she drove the whole way more carefully than ever before and had a smile on her face the whole time.

time skip 8pm

We are standing in front of the entrance gate to our house and Scar is driving up the driveway to the house. We have a pretty big house and a high security system because we both make a lot of money and have a lot of influence it is safer for us and our new baby girl. Scar gets out and opens my door for me and goes to the car to get Ava out who luckily slept the whole way through. She seems to be one of those babies who falls asleep and calms down when driving. When Scar tries to get her out her head almost falls back and gives us both a shock. But Scar is quick and positions her so that she cradles against her like a newborn. I get Ava's things out of the trunk and unlock the front door so Scar can hold Ava in both arms. "Go ahead, I'll be right there, I'm just driving the car into the garage, babe." and Scar nods her head and whispers a little "yes, babe, I'll take Ava up to our room, yes." I nod and go to the car to drive it in.
